I used to go to this other message board all the time, it was a Star Trek message board. The show was starting to stink pretty bad with Enterprise, so I spent most of my time in the general discussion or scifi section, almost everyday for two years. Then one day, I got banned. This moderator didn't like me because he disagreed on a political discussion and gave me six warnings in one day, which is an instant ban(temporary though) and that broke the spell and I never went back. I think I had one warning in 3 years up to that point.

Do you spend everyday on this message board? Are you addicted to it? Is it the first place you go when you start the computer? I visit the main site almost daily, but I only visit the message boards every few days here.

out of all the boards I've ever been on, I like this one the best.  Gawd, but there are plenty of know it alls, mega-posters, children-pretending-to-be-wise, etc...

... but they're everywhere.  And there's actually a small measure of wisdom, a friendly dose of society (I emphatically did not say "community") and some true entertainment value here.

I did promise myself if I ever got to 1,000 posts, I would quit, so I'm halfway there.
