1) People who for some reason are unable to grasp the simple logic of the roundabout as to what lane they should take on approach and in navigating the roundabout to arrive at their required exit 2) The 45mph people, who drive the same speed wherever theyre going wherever they are. Past the primary school at ten to nine? 45mph. On the open road with no traffic in front? 45mph. 3) The lorry drivers identified in the OP, who overtake another lorry on a dual carriageway and possess such speed by comparison to the overtaken vehicle that overtaking was of course absolutely necessary - but then it takes a good minute or two for it to pass, meanwhile holding up a line of car behind who have had to drop from 70mph to 56mph because thats as fast as the lorry is regulated to go. 4) People talking on cell phones when this has been banned, and getting away with it when their driving ability is clearly so low that they ought to be still bearing L plates. These are the people who have stopped me from using my cell phone as a driver with very high standard of ability, due to practice over many years. 5) People who must have recently bought a large pack of some breakfast cereal, the prize within which must have been a driver's licence. Clueless morons who couldnt possibly have passed even a rudimentary test. 6) Those who are so nervous on the road, and those who are so blase and overconfident that they are a liability to all. E

Speaking of motorcyclists... Motorcyclists who weave in and out of traffic, especially if the traffic is standing still. GRRRRR! Also, motorcyclists who ride 2 across in a lane. That IS illegal. On the other side, people who cut off motorcyclists because they can't be bothered to check the road properly before they pull out really irk me.

as a semi driver, this is one of my favorite rant subjects!! i love it when a smaller vehicle passes me, then jumps in front of me & slams on their brakes so that they can make a turn or take an off-ramp...it's sort of like having paddles to the heart to get it jump-started...i also enjoy it when smaller vehicles taigate me, since i can't actually see them back there & if i had to stop very quickly, they would rear-end me...any idea how much of a compact car will fit up under a semi-trailer in that situation? then there are the drivers who can't slow down in order to allow me to pass a slower vehicle going uphill, because after all, it will take them a few seconds to get back up to speed & i'm taking away at least a minute or two of their busy lives that they will never get back... as for the comment about drivers who take it way too seriously, it can be deadly serious...anyone who doesn't understand that they are propelling a multi-ton lethal weapon down the road needs re-training...i spend each & every day preventing people from committing suicide on the roads, using my big truck as their weapon... rant concluded.....

i also used to ride a motorcycle & was run over by a little old lady in a large oldsmobile who swore she never saw me.....

HGVs that take up the middle lane overtaking the other HGV by going 0.0001 of a mile faster. Pulling up at traffic lights alongside someone who is determined to pick, roll, and flick every last bit out of their nose, love it when you catch their eye!

People that try to hit on the opposite sex while driving. Do you think that I'll actually pull my car over to the side of the road to give you my number?? And furthermore, what makes you think that I can understand a single word you're saying to me? You need to be looking straight! Oh, and what in the world would give you the notion that I think that the inside of a vehicle that looks like the inside of a coffin is sexy? Crap, and do you think that I'll enjoy playing with the drooping roof cloth that is disconnected everywhere and hanging down in your car, except for where the ceiling light is? I started a thread on this once called your a stupid driver when ... heres a few of my favorites: 1) you pull out in traffic real fast then go slow 2 you do the above except you immediately throw your other blinker on to make an immediate turn again 3) you have a mile of traffic behind you at a light and you decide to hold up traffic to let someone out of a side street ..... now I get stuck at a friggin red light

I cannot stand people who chat on the phone while they drive. They sit there at a green light, not realizing it changed, they stop short, they are totally oblivious to whats going on around them. Although we have pretty strict laws about it around here, people simply do not care or obide by the law. I also dislike all the SUVs. I drive a car and it is impossible to see if the road or lot is clear to back out of your parking space when you have SUV's on one or both sides of you. I usually just inch out little by little, hold my breath and hope for the best. It's really a hassle.

I just got back from a short putt into town and back (14mi rt)....my 2nd putt of the year and sure as shit....doing about 35 and some dickwad pulls right out in front of me and I see him glancing at me in his mirror. I passed him and spit a big loogie over my head....not sure if I got him but once in awhile I connect....I usually do that sometimes when they tailgate... (gotta quit doing that cause somewhere sometime someones gonna get real mad and run my ass over for doing that)
