Master told me yesterday that slaves are a rare and prescious comodity so i wondered if slaves ever thought of themselves as a rare and prescious comondity i would be interested in your thoughts then i will share mine...

No, i do not think of myself that way...that put's to much focus on the whole: i,me,my thing.
Actually, considering i just woke up from a very restless night, have not had near enough coffee, i feel pretty damn worthless and useless at this moment.

Slaves who can function in the type of relationship that suits the Owner well are rare...but that can be said of every type of relationship you can throw out there.

I don't have a problem of thinking of myself as precious and special as long as I realize that's not going to prevent me from being given away, or sold, or punished or make lots of really bad mistakes sometimes.

Well.. i'm not a slave.. but I am rare.

There is not one other person in the world that is exactly like me. (some people are very very thankful of this.. btw)

I also think I'm precious, or of great value. Not everyone will agree with me on that, but any future Dom had better.[;)]

yes, i think each one of Us/us is rare and precious (even an uncaffeinated smilezz!! happy wednesday right back atcha!). i include myself in that opening statement, too ;)... sometimes it's hard to hang onto that feeling when searching for a dominant Partner, as it seems there are hundreds of male (and "male-ish") submissives out there for every truly dominant Female...but despite laws of supply and demand, ever-changing moods, and the occasional drudgeries of daily life...it is still true!

i don't know if i am rare or presicious(sp) < but my Master treats me as if i am. So if he treat me that way i am to him and that is all that matters.

i was half-kidding...sly had a song called "everybody is a star," which, for all i know, may have sprung from crowley's writings. and yes, *many* artistic types have been influenced by aleister, from dark rockers like jimmy page and ozzy to high-brow writers like alan moore (crowley himself even appears in moore's phenomenal series "promethea," which i can't recommend enough!).

and i just actually read "the book of lies," which had some pretty fascinating material in it!

He writes some good stuff. i have been reading Book 4. i like some of the way he describes magick and his belifhs aboute it. It gives good material to a chaos magician like me.

I'm not a slave. But property is as valuable as other people view it. So as I slave I would probably seek my value in my Master not instrinsically.

Most people have moved over to the other post, and until the Mods have time to move this thread, then Mercnbeth have helpfully directed everyone.

So she double posted... so she made a mistake.
Being fairly new to the board, it was one of her first postings...
Call it bragging if one desires, but it was an elloquent question attached to it.
