This is a tough question because I could list a whole bunch. To simplify it, I'll go with a category of people I'll call the Elvises of the world. They are the originals who break the molds, do their own things regardless of what others think, and at least in Elvis's case end up being imitated by hordes of folks who aren't original themselves and so copy him.

Yeah, I know Elvis started by copying black blues musicians, but back then white folks just didn't do that. Obviously, he didn't care about conforming to the expectations of others.

Ronald Reagan not only for his political career/presidency, which i admire tremendously, but also for the man that he was over all, he was a brilliant man, exceptional in every way, he was decent, had a good heart, was incredibly clever and charming, he was a devoted husband and a true gentleman, he carried himself with grace and class and IMO represented what a real man should be...he is definately one of the people i admire most.

Elvis Presley, well, he certainly wasn't perfect, but, nobody is...i admire him tho because he lived life hard and fast, he did everything he wanted to, he had all the odds against him yet he still rose to fame and fortune, he was charming and brilliant, he was always kind and generous, he was good hearted and just had a charisma about him that even today still radiates through the screen/music.

George Bush, i admire our president because he stands for what he believes in no matter what, he is a man of principle and has done the very best he can with what he's been given, he's so sincere in the way he expresses himself, so "not" political, he doesn't try to be something he isn't, he is what he is and you either love him or hate him, he does his job and doesn't care to win a popularity vote.

Henry David Thearou, he truly lived out what he wrote about, he lived life to it's fullest and wasn't afraid to take major risks in life.

my second grade teacher
, Mrs. Stocker, which was so very sweet and loving, she always had a smile on her face and would never hesitate to wrap her arms around me and give me a big hug, she saw each of us as individuals and i loved her for it.

my mom, she's such a sincere person, maybe even too sincere for her own good at times, she has a pure soul, she truly is one of the very few real "good people" that i know. she's also a survivor, and i admire her for that.

Last but certainly not least, my Master : )
He's so very smart, he has all these virtues which i just admire and wish i possesed! He lives life as He wishes and not as is expected or politically correct, He says and does what He feels not what is necessarily acceptable by society, for that and many many more things i admire and simply adore my Master. : )
