This is my first poll. I work 2nd Shift 4 P.M. to midnight. I like 2nd shift because it is layed back and have no traffic either way to work. It is nice and quiet when I get home at night. I have the parks to myself to hike in before work, and if I have to pop in a store, the stores are never busy in the daytime.

I work first shift, daytime.....12 to 13 hours a day.

Days... I'm too solor powed to do nights.
Work day is 9 hours cause someone's gotta be there, M-F.
An hour drive both ways if traffic is kind.

I work first shift most of the time from 6 am until 11 am.
I like this shift because it allow me to have time to go to administrations, i can do my cleaning, laundry, etc.
I dislike it because i have to get up at 5.15 AM and that i m so tired I have to take a nap (wich take a few hours away from what I have to do.

I'd probably prefer and be happier on 2nd shift. If I could revert to my natural sleep cycle, I'd sleep from about 4AM to noon. I'd rather see dawn as the end of the day.

I am a full time college student, so I mostly work nights and weekends around my school schedule.

I work two jobs. One full-time, the other part-time. My work day is 8:30am-7:30pm. With 30 minutes to 60 minutes off between jobs in the late afternoon.

I am military so I work whatever they decide to give to me. When I am not off playing soldier, I am MP. I enjoy it, though once my time is up, Master has pretty much said that he does not wish for me to work.

On one job I work part of 1st shift, all of 2nd shift and part of 3rd shift.....my hours are from 2 in the afternoon until 2 to 4 in the morning. I do that 4 days a week and a straight 8 hour on Saturday. Unfortunately I usually work til at least 3am on Friday night and have to be back in at 6am on Saturday...so that means no sleep on Fridays. On my off days I run my own business....hours vary but usually between 12 to 16 a day.

I hate my hours, they leave very little time for life (or sleep) but money doesn't grow on trees. Hopefully soon I will be able to concentrate all of my efforts on my own business and I can shitcan the other job.

I work when i please at the mo as i'm writing at home but when i get my pub it will be seven days a week varying hours.

I work in retail so the scedule changes. I can work anywhere from 4-8 hour days, either opening the store, or closing.

I like the hours, but occasionally i wish they would give me more so i can get more money, which is always nice. I mean, i'm not gonna turn down more money.

i work in education with special needs kids. 8am-4pm... totally love my job, school is 5 mins walk from my house and it suits me as a single mother to work school hours and have school holidays off....

OH did i mention being made redundant in August..... job hunting here i come!

I am on call 24/7...all one week, next week off, etc etc

It's ok, been doing it for so long that I never even notice the hours I put in anymore. There's a lot to be said for being a zombie

I work eight 10-hour days then have 6 days off. It's a great schedule. Sometimes the last two days of a work session get a bit grim, but it's well worth it to have those six days off. It's like getting two vacations every month. Today is the first day of one of my mini-vacations, in fact. WooHoo!!!

Sunday through Wed. 6:30am-2:30 (sometimes I'll stay later if I have alot of work)
