Status: offline 		first concert was seeing Floyd at Soldier's Field in Chicago ...laser light combined with their music - best mindbending experience for a young teen! favorite song - there are so many however i absolutely love Shine On You Crazy Diamond. favorite album Dark Side of the Moon (my youngest UM would kick whenever track 4 would play ...she loves "singing" it now) and The Wall. i have the anniversary double disc CD and DVD. there's radio station here in town that devotes an hr to  Think Pink - nothing but Pink Floyd for a full hr every Monday. i have attended the laser shows in sync with their music and have attend the Wizard of Oz/Floyd shows

Status: offline 		       The greatest hits CD "Echoes" has Shine on You Crazy Diamond as a single track instead of split in two as it was on the original release.  I like it that way.

Status: offline 		I absolutely love Wish You Were Here.  That entire album is just perfect.
I've only see them in concert once.  That was the Division Bell Tour in 1994.
Giants Stadium.  Perfect seats.  Perfect head show.  So was the limo ride there.

Status: offline 		I could ONLY wish to see such "gods" of rock/music..............JUST gave my two fave Pieses...........thier fave band shirts..............which was them!!!!!  Its hard to find good things......(esp where i live) thank goodness for the internet!!!

I could only be one of the LUCKY ones to see such LEDGENDS...........................

Status: offline 		When Roger Waters did "The Wall" live at the Wall in Berlin I remember part if not all of it being televised (I think it was all televised because I remember watching it). Even though it was not the original it was still a fantastic show and I have both the Original "The Wall" and Roger Water's "The Wall" on my computer.. I listen to both quite regulately.

I love all their work that I have, yes I am shy a few pieces, but have most of it. Shine on You Crazy Diamond is another favorite, but Dark Side of the Moon is my absolute fave.

Status: offline 		i know when PBS does their pledge drive they run The Wall from Berlin as a viewer's choice special with the bleeping of the offensive language.  when they run it again, i'm buying the DVD version so i can add it to my Floyd collection.

Status: offline 		Well obviously my "Pink Floyd Experience" is something very unique which I can safely say I am probably the only one that can honestly state this fact...............................I listened to "Dark Side of the Moon" and got stoned to the "BeJesus" in my parent's basement.

Status: offline 		If I had to pick one, it would be Dark Side of the Moon, still great music, as is a lot of their work.  I also think it's great that my kids like Pink Floyd.  One year for Christmas, my eldest gifted me with The Wall.

Status: offline 		      Hehehehe.  They are timeless, or maybe just way ahead of their time.  I had to pick my mother up from a Dr's office once, after she had been given a shot of Demerol.  I didn't even think about having "Wish You Were Here" in the stereo.  She was tripping along nicely, and telling me that I liked good music.

Usually I wouldn't respond back to a neophyte poster...But you seem like a good kid...So I'll throw ya a bone....I dont know if the accoustics of a living room compare to a cinder blocked basement....Also I think my parents would have been incredibly bummed to find their Domiboy with a 3 foot Graffix... baked to the bone crashed out in their living room.

When listening to Floyd today I still recommend a basement and a 3 foot Graffix.

Edited to add...Gosh I always thought I was the only one...Not that special after all....

Status: offline 		I Love The Wall, Live in Berlin.  Arpig had a tape of it, and I thought it was Amazing.  He's actually the one that introduced me to Pink Floyd.  I had heard them before, and liked a few songs, but that was it.  He played them a lot, and I learned to love it!

No!  i'm not going!

i had to sing "kickin' around on a piece of turf in your home town..." to some late 20's folk - who liked PF. 'Cause "ten years had passed them by", and it was pretty tragic, 'cause i really liked them. But then i also called Zeb a baby sucking on Tess's teat, and drinking all the mommy-milk from her daughter and her home. But, wait ... that's a completely different story...

i used to hate PF for being so depressing, but they're a "healthy" depressing. i've recently - in my 40's - had a PF reunion. Now i'm dying to get all their albums. I think they went downhill with "The Wall"  - although i interspersed lyrics from it in one of my posts ... somewhere.

We came to that conclusion, in high school (private prep for gifted under-acheivers .. man, was THAT a trip, right in the middle of Vermont, student's living in yurts and ex-Peace Corps home-made crooked buildings, everyone taking tabs and listening to The Dead and i went to two classes. One when i got there, and then another one sometime later. Under-achievers - my@ass), and also that Jim Morrison should just masturbate on stage instead of sing. And that i was the card in the deck that wasn't really a card; the one with the poker information and manufacturer's information on it. i've never been so hurt by the truth. And everyone was brilliant. Great school, though they shut it down after a couple illegal yurts caught on fire, illegally. Under-Achievers!?! They should see me now!

i remember at the time, PF were like the fathers nobody had.
