It is oppression. It may be self funded, you may be abe to vote on the rules plus their punishments, and with a good lawyer buy leniency, but it is still a form of oppression. And once the whole brainwashed at birth with added stockholm syndrome kicks in, it's very hard for any freak on a leash who's been constantly told by their Dom that their method is the best, to make an impartial decision about the methods used by rival Dom's. It still wouldn't solve the problems accociated with it. One must maintain a regulated monitored event for it to be effective. Then some might say tha the rights of others are being violated. I think it is laughable that the rights of the the infected man with tb are being violated after he refused to comply with health sanctions requested of him....to Me not too much different than someone with aids intentionally spreading it. Public corporal punishment works in other countries, and they do have lower crime rates. I bet that kid who spraypainted those cars in Singapore gets sick from the smell of wet paint now. Is it oppression? Hell yes! So is locking people in cages, but they call it prison. It's a PUNISHMENT.
