Haliburton, damnear the single most prolific of the beneficiaries of our tax dollars is moving their corporate headquarters to Dubai UAE.

I guess there are tax advantages there, and the no fun pun is strictly intended.

Yes, they are quite patriotic, but to whom ?

MUTHERFUCKERS.

No, I don't want to give motherfuckers a bad name so I take that back. They don't even want to pay US taxes on the US taxes they rip us off for ?

This  is really too much.

T

Vote for Ron Paul.

look at it in terms of realpolitik

Cheney  who was excused from  publicly  declaring his  words at roundtable with the oil giants, and who  will be back at Haliburton------

well, that's where the action is going to be for the biggest contractor the world has ever known is where the oil is, so they can babysit it and have plans to control it.

Ahhhhhhhhh------

Ron

Wanna know what really pissed me off?

When i found out the origins of that pyramid and damn eye in it.  Even as a child it bothered me but now knowing what it is and what it represents simply pisses me off that we allowed this to be on our notes..

Why?  because as the wise man said. learn and thou shalt know what we know.

Of course there is a reason for that and we better get ready to hang onto our azzez because there is a bumpy ride ahead!!!

yah but why would they move corporate out?  That is a huge undertaking just for babysitting ni the days of sat phones.  i woudl bet you that there is way more to this than meets the eye.  Like prepare yourself more.  me thinks they are reading writing on the wall and want to go to more temperate weather.

I'd like to read the actual source. I could understand them moving the corporate offices of a division, but their corporate address not really: they would loose huge amounts of benefits and funding.

Hopefully, after Bush goes they won't be getting anymore govt. contracts and the ones they still have will be terminated.

I like Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter.
None of those mainstream repubs for me!
McCain and Guiliani will just be shills for the lobbyists on K street!

Mm.. yeah the tax dollars bit sucks but chew on this.  They are also privy to some very important and sensative information regarding our military and their capablities to defend this country due to their contracts... and now, they will not be under the rule of law for our country... but yanno.. don't worry.. no one in Dubai will be interested in that info....

That's the thing about Washington, it's the *same people* and companies making the money year after year.
Isn't that called "corruption?"

You guys amaz me...this entire Iraq thing was in retaliaction against terrorism, and the attack on american freedom by Husain,  It has nothing to do with oil, and control of it. This was to free the people of Iraq from a hitleristic madman dictator who would rule the world. Didn't you guys see the CNN split screen images of a raving Hitler along with a raving Saddam?

Oil has nothing to do with Haliburton, Bectel, or any other corporations. Bush acted to defend america from the threat of terrorism.

I am rather astonished that somebody would be emotionally upset at Halliburton moving off-shore to hide their profits.

The word that comes to my mind is "duh."

For future reference, I found this by typing "halliburton" and "Dubai" into google.

Sinergy, I'm not upset if they move their headquarters to Dubai then they're no longer an American company!
I'm a disabled veteran, and the govt. sets asides 10% of contracts for us.
Maybe I should start a company and do what Hilliburton does and get some contracts.

I was not upset emotionally, I was just pointing out that we, the American Taxpayer, are getting kicked in the face again.

In the light of current events, it is likely that we will change from regime A to regime B in the coming election. So it would do Uncle Haliburton well to get their files and offices off of US soil and to where they are not quite as vulnerable to the US justice dept.

Taxes ? Who said taxes. I could give a shit about taxes, they just print money. They don't want to get arrested. Who knows what a new administration is going to find in all these no bid contracts.

This is not the worst they've done. These MFs want to sell the whole country out. Oops, I take that back, don't want to give MFs a bad name.

The Bush administration was secretly working on a project to meld ythe US with Canada and Mexico, creating a new union similar to the EU, Paul and Tancredo and a few others found out about it and have introduced a bill opposing it. Neither the senate nor congress was apprised of this action.

In my book this is fucking treason. You know there are Englishmen sitting in jail because of EU laws they didn't even know existed. Similarly, this treason here would put our laws and court subordinate to the American Union, with officials unelected and unsupported by the people.

It is the same old thing people, it is no different than the old robber barons, pike owners or anything else, the quest for money and it's more ultimate goal, power.

Maybe it was just time for a news report, just one more thing "they" are doing. Maybe it was time, one poster asked if it was just a rumor and another quickly provided a link before I even got back. I don't make this shit up folks.

In light of all this, it was indeed time for a news report. I am glad I did it, I would do it again and fuck anyone who doesn't like it, especially Haliburton.

Y'know I refuse, out of protest, to give or recieve any gift on Christmas, but a buddy had a party on Dec 9th last year, so I did not refuse. His Wife and he's gift to me was a stupid plaque, which I proudly display on my refrigerator, it says "Chaos, Panic and Disorder, My work here is done".

People have given me cars, although they owed me, people have offered their Wives, but this was one of the most thoughtful gifts I've recieved in a long time. And they did it for three bucks.

I am glad I am not in the greed thing anymore. Really. I didn't get the name Teminator for nothing. Really, you have not seen me in action. If I get my greed on, let's put it this way, if I ran a business killing people for money, I would sell the bodies to pet food factories.

And if you think that is any worse than what they do think again. I don't send Men out there ill equipped to take ove a country halfway around the world.

Folks, if our leaders really are leaders, then we got carte blanche to do whatever we want morally, because morality is history.
