Rose4Mistress -> Meow Meow Meow (3/31/2007 3:49:01 PM)

Hello there!  I've been commenting away happily on different posts, but I had yet to actually introduce myself!
I am 18 years old (young'un, I know), with essentially no experience.  At this point in time I align most with a submissive, but I am far from being a doormat.  Its quite possible I *may* persue switching in the years to come...or not.  I have no idea.
I am a total nerd.  Books excite me more than almost anything else in the world.  I will read anything and everything, but some of my favorite books of all time are 1984, The Fountainhead, Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles, anything by Stephen King (!!!!), Dante's Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso....books <3333
I also love to play video games.  I can be found playing the "girly" games like the Final Fantasy series on PS2, as well as The Sims 2 on the computer.  I also play Lineage 2 online.  But I also enjoy Mortal Combat and GTA.  I am very competitive and will probably win.  Oh and I HATE Halo.  And XBOX in general.
I love sports.  Softball, basketball, volleyball...I play them all.  Take me to a sports game and you will own my heart!
Music of any kind enchants me.  I am the girl that will powder my face and go to a Rob Zombie concert dressed as Living Dead Girl and will rock out, and the girl that loves to slip into a velvet dress to go see an orchestra play.  I play the drums, the clarinet and the sax.
Anyway, thats about it for me!  Feel free to drop me an email to say hi if you feel like it!

Hi,
You might want to pick up We,which is like 1984. It's written in the 1920s I think.
Welcome [:)]

We?  Interesting...I shall most definitely do that.  I am rather obsessed with dystopian society novels like 1984 and Brave New World

I love both of those so much. There is something just fun reading dystopian novels.
A fellow band geek? I use to play the clarinet.

I loved band.  I started playing clarinet in 3rd grade, and have since picked up the other woodwinds as well, but clarinet will always and forever be my favorite. They is something about playing Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" on clarinet that just keeps me so into it...

I miss band. Did you do marching band? If you want an easy woodwind, try the bass clarinet. It's really fun.

Rose4Mistress -> RE: Meow Meow Meow (3/31/2007 6:02:55 PM)

I did marching for a year, but I am much more of a classical player.  The bass clarinet is fun, but so is the contra alto.  Its about as tall as I am, so I get to sit on a really high chair :[:)]

Hiyas, rose! this one too, was a big musician and singer when she was in school... she lived marching and concert and chamber and jazz bands... mostly with the clarinet, along with guitar, bass, keyboards and other woodwinds like bassoon, bass clarinet and oboe... love the vibration an oboe reed makes in your mouth and the slightly nasal sound of it. She'd go out on the field for marching band with both a clarient and a piccolo on her... and switch to the piccolo for the fight song. No one else wanted to play it, so she picked it up.

I have to say, the pic is one of those instruments that I have never fully gotten the hang of.  I'd much rather play the Eb clarinet, but then, I've always been prejudiced against the flutes ^.^
Multi-tasking in marching band...oh yes, I remember those days!
