I shaved and put some stockings on it feels so good to have the silky material on my silky skin, I can't help but wonder if I still have my killer cute blue high heels.

Is there anything you can rub onto stockings while you're wearing them to minimize tearing and to care for them, These stockings are brand new but the top of them is kind of thin I'd like to reinforce it somehow if at all possible.

All I know about stockings is what my Mistress has told me.

Like when you get a run, to stop the run use clear nailpolish on them.

now this all depends on what type of stockings you have. Whether they are just nylon, or PVC, etc.

I dont belvie that nylon stockings have a solution that you can rub on them. You just have to be really careful.

Ha, I don't even worry about it, I figure nylons are an investment just like washing dishes is or making the bed in the morning- you know it's just gonna get messed up by the next day.

This is part of why I rarely wear them anymore, unless I want to look extra special or give an extra sensation for my partner, I just don't wear anything at all. Nylons just get ruined after a good night...

I know that there is a salt solution that you can soak nylon stockings in to minimize running and tearing, let me see if I can dig it up.

Here are a few tips for you:

Spraying nylons lightly with hairspray before wearing can help to avoid runs and snags.

Before you wear them, wash them. Then, while they are still wet, freeze them. Let them stay in the freezer until they are completely frozen. Once you've thawed them out and let them dry, they will last longer. I don't know why this works, but it does. My mom started doing it and I made fun of her, but eventually tried it. Now most of the time I wear out the heels of my hose before I get a run. You also want to dry them over a soft towel, not just draped over the shower door.

Hope this helps you

So petal...do you spray them with hairspray and then wash and freeze them or is this two different fixes...lol? I just spent about $30 on nylons today. They aren't an option for me, and I go through a LOT of them! The nylons definately last longer than pantyhose...but that's only because the pantyhose are usually ripped off or cut off....lol.

Can't wait to try the wash/freeze trick.

I have always worked in professional settings so hose is most definitely a requirement. I was like you stormsfate....going through a fortune. It seemed that I could not get more than one day out of a pair before I was snagging them on something. Well, years ago I stopped buying pantyhose. Now I only buy thigh highs. All of the major pantyhose makers have a version....I personally like the No Nonsense variety the best. Now they are not the fancy lacy type that one would wear when trying to look hot....they are just very basic, but the elastic at the top works very well on that brand. That way when I get a run, I just simply discard that one. This has very drastically cut down on the amount of money I spend on my "work week" hose.

Oh....and that freezer trick really does work too.
