LadyImpact, I am glad you like the name, it was actually a mistake!  But it turned out okay!

To tell you the truth, I have been grieving for a long time, and it has only been in the last 3-4 months
that I really felt I had much to give in a D/s or any intimate relationship.
Take time for you!  I was here all the time, even though I knew I was not ready for anything serious.
If you want to email me on the other side, I always enjoy hearing from you.
I hope mom starts feeling better soon, hang in here and it is going to get better.
You are to sweet for it NOT to get better!

Dear MzMia, Ladies and Gentlemen;
 
March went by in a hurry.  I haven't been out to The Crucible for but a few weekends. (The Crucible is in Washington, DC)
 
I came across a lad who asked me about a female dominant to which has a bad history of using and kicking to the curb slaves/submissives when their income is low or she finds another financial slave.  So, I've been a support for the lad and a Lady has taken the lad in.  He is now gaining weight.  He did look like he was in a consentration camp in Nazi Germany--extremely skinny.  She isolated him and now he is finding a large supportive group of Dominant women.
 
A former student slave, at an Academy I was faculty member of at one time, is suffering from cancer and is in treatments.  So, I am supporting them through this time as they don't have a Master. 
 
A Master who lost their slave, has been corresponding with me as a support.  So, I've been busy with that also.
 
I have a hectic schedule dealing with my mummy (Mom). 
 
I am also hopeful that I can get time to see my friends as I haven't seen them since January at MAL (In DC).
 
I'm still mentoring, teaching and at times a scene.

I'm working full time, going to college, being  a Mom and a Mistress. My allergies are going crazy and my back which had not bothered me for months is now kicking up again. I am really disliking not living with my sub and I am seriously thinking of selling my house and buying a new one and moving. I've lived in the city too long and I'm just plain tired of it.
My unmentionable is taking driving lessons and I have to say its rather nerve wracking lol I am trying to plan our summer vacation and can't for the life of me decide where I want to go. Somewhere laid back, quiet and yet has some sight seeing potential. I will figure something out.
I am also looking for a Femdom group to join so if anyone has any recommendations please let me know. I live in the MD/DC/VA area.

Greetings dear ladies:

I am doing much bettter this month.  I am healing from my surgery in October.  When one goes through a hysterectomy, it does a bit of a number on you. 
Family and slave are fine.   Everything is  much better since we have our own place.   It will be like that for a long time.  I have reached a decision where I do not wish to remarry for a long time, or live with anyone either because I have my aging mother and grandmother to look after.
Work is going well. I am loving my job.  I am not getting many hours this week, but that is a normal thing for retail. Sometimes I work a lot.
My feet have been swelling up something terrible from standing up on them at work. I went to the doctor today, and she gave me new fluid medicine for it.
Will have to go on a diet.    I have really gained some weight since that surgery.  
I hope everyone has a blessed Easter.

Hello to all the beautiful Mistresses here,
 
Some of us have such busy lives that we multi-task in our sleep.
I am on spring break, resting, re-charging my energy and
trying to pull out of the mental fatigue from too much memorization
and learning of new data.
 
Both of my boys are doing well.  One is going off to a big
motocross race this weekend.  The other is spending time
with his family.  One of my bestest friends has a birthday
bar-b-que planned at a nearby park on Saturday.  We have
the local munch on Friday night at a Chinese restaurant (yum).
And there is an "Alien Invaders" themed party for Saturday
night with a bunch of my college friends.
 
The weather is alternating between foggy with light rain and
clear with high winds.  Allergy season is upon us, mostly
what effects me is the all the dust and pollen blowing about.
 
For any of the ladies looking for a vacation spot, may I suggest
the area where I live, San Luis Obispo County on the Central
Coast of California.  We have mountains, ocean, beaches,
the Morro Bay Estuary, hiking, kayaking, wineries, micro-breweries,
theatres, restaurants and shopping outlets.  And of course,
The Madonna Inn and Hearst Castle!

Well I have to say My April is going much better than my March. I'm still feeling a bit stung from the submissive experiment gone wrong and the breakdown of My relationship with the LiarDom. However, I discovered a song whilst cruising my iTunes called "Just Close Your Eyes" by a group called Waterproof Blonde, and I wont post all of the lyrics, but this passage pretty much sums up what happened to me and how I feel now:

Never thought I would be so here, so high in the air,

Other than that I'm finishing up this semester next month (Deans list again! Yay!), as well as beginning study sessions to take my Law School entrance exams next spring. I'm a firm believer in pleanty of preptime. Measure 6 times, cut once. Also My little niche of an online shop is going swimmingly, and I expect to introduce several new designs in the next few weeks, including some nice nilla looking Mistressy charm necklaces as part of my "Love Hurts" series. I'll update with a link in my message board signature once they go live.
 
Glad to hear everyone else seems to be feeling the positive effects of spring!

Some of downtown businesses are shuffling around.
McCarthy's moved after 50 years in the same location!
A bunch of the regulars helped the bar-tenders
pick up the top of the bar and they walked it down
Higuera to the new location, with stops at the Frog
and Peach and Mother's Tavern to sustain themselves.
McCarthy's Bar is now where the Old Country Deli used
to be on Marsh and Mo's Bar-b-que Joint is where
Hudson's Grill was on Monterey Street.

Well, this month for me has been a lot better than the past 2 or 3 months. MY whole year actually started off bad. So bad my girlfriend put me in the hospital. I'll be glad to explain later if anyone wants, just not right now. Having trouble seeing right now.

So...me and my girl are getting along great. She's as sweets as can be, but tempermental. :P Have been conversing with a male slave for some time now....supposed to be meeting face to face in a few weeks. If all goes according to plan, he'll be collared when we meet. The only problem with it, is I will have to move from where I am and my girlfriend will not be going with me. It's not that we'd be breaking up....the problem is she wears another masters collar. So whereever I move to can't be too far. That way I can be close by if she needs me, I can see her on a regular basis and take her out.

My allergies are reeking havic with me. I think that's the problem with my eyes right now...I'll be so glad when pollen season is over.

Will be going to a pagan gathering next month at Dragon Hills, called Moondance. If anyone here is going, would be nice to meetup with ya. This will be my first pagan gathering in 10 years. Been thinking of looking for some events in BDSM to go to. Have been to any of those in forever. I would have to venture though as there are absolutely none where I live. So, I figure Augusta, Atlanta...maybe Savannah.

Got to spend a week with my oldest daughter and my granbaby not long ago. First time i've seen them since Christmas. Baby has gotten big and runs mommy crazy. She says the same thing 4 or 5 times before saying something else.

Getting ready for camping season. Hopefully will be getting some fishing in as well. Might have to go alone though as my girls doesn't really like camping or fishing.

Glad everyone else here seems to be having a good time and things going well for you all. :) Hopefully this year will prove to be a good one for us all. I know several of us are looking for that certain someone...may we all find who we search for.

I guess it is April.  Hello to all ladies.  I hope all is well for you.
My life seems to finally be on track. I am still working.  The district manager has noticed, and I may be the one to set up displays in the area.  That is what I am hoping for.
Two months ago, I did not think I would be able to work again.  Two years ago, I was ready to file for Disability, but something told me no.
I don't make a lot of money, but I am very happy.  
My slave and I are doing well now.  Mom went and had dinner Easter night at his place.   He cooked for us.  They have made up finally.
Never again will I live with another man.   I want my own place.  
Hope it all goes well for you this month.
