Shoobie Doobie Shoobie Doobie....Spring is here!
April Roll Call Ladies!
I will start.....

Life is going well for me, I am busy as hell and I am trying to do too many things all at
one time, isn't that the American way these days?
My "potential" and I are cooling it a bit these days, we have had some differences of opinions,

but we are still on speaking terms, and I am open to still meeting him real/time.
I joined weight watchers online, I love it! I am losing that winter weight.
I am not making any major plans for the spring or summer, I have an Uncle in Boise, Idaho that
wants me to come visit him.  I might be going in June, it would be fun to go rafting and do some outside
activities in Idaho. {I am not really the outside type sort of like Goldie Hawn in Private Benjamin}
I want the spa cabins when I rough it.

I do plan on joining FONZ {Friends of the National Zoo} and becoming a member of the National Aquarium in
Washington, D.C.
So I will be hanging out there a lot.  Being a member of FONZ is so cool because besides the free parking, they have
special nights throughout the year that the zoo is open ONLY to its members!
They do this at Halloween, I have heard it is wonderful.

I am beginning an online study of Buddhism from a wonderful and reputable site.
I have always had an interest and fascination with Buddhism, and I love yoga and want to begin practicing meditation,
so it all falls together for me.
The only issue I have with Buddhism is they don't believe in GOD.
I do believe in GOD, and that will never change for me, so I guess I am taking the principals that work for me out of
Buddhism.
I plan on doing the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on May 5-6 in Washington, D.C.     Avon Walk for Breast Cancer:
Notice I did say walk!!! LOL
Okay who is next?

Well, I was waiting for this to come up.  My thanks Mia for helping Us to keep more connected.

I would have to say things are going well for Me.  Much better than they were last month.  I've regrouped somewhat and brought Myself some direction.  After such a long period out of the lifestyle, (which I don't recommend) I've started becoming more connected.  I've found that I get a lot of satisfaction out of being here on CM for the discussion factor.  Also, I'm moving forward with plans to reconnect in community.  Making contacts with people in Atlanta more than anywhere, as the lifestyle is almost non-existant in this town.

A special point of interest, I've started playing again on a casual basis.  He doesn't fit My needs totally, as he is a Switch, but he's quite fun to do public exhibits with.  Unfortunately, We did one last weekend in Stockbridge where there were some not only drunk but disorderly people attending.  Long story short, I ended up throwing everyone out because they were not being respectful (as far as I'm concerned, the boy was My property for the duration of the scene) and things have progressed from there.  Turns out he's quite a good play partner and we are both fulfilling the other's need for an outlet.  I've needed to stretch My legs a bit.  I've been couped up for far too long.  Oh, I named him Chosen, since I picked him for r/t play out of the pool of those interested.

My husband has now expressed interest in becoming a Dominant himself.  I'm trying to move cautiously in this area, as I don't believe it is one to be fooled with.  I have him reading and observing at this point.  Having a casual play partner should be very helpful, since My husband can learn certain techniques.  The situation has a lot of potential.

I am still looking for what I would term as the right submissive for Me.  Good things come to Those who wait, I suppose.  I am remaining positive.

Who's next?

Its nice to see your having some fun at least, though your husbands role is interesting, but could it confuse things for you also?

I love the spring, also.  I am completing a few projects around my house.
I just began a new relationship with a handsome submissive male, and he is a
very handy, handyman.
I don't have much to complain about, things are going well for me.

How long has this April Roll Call thing been going on?...nice idea. And would you mind posting that Buddhism site?

I have been interested in Buddhism, but have not been very active...I've done some reading, but frankly, I've been avoiding getting into serious practice...but saw Peaceful Warrior this weekend and am thinking I need to revisit this.

So, what's upcoming for me...well, updated my profile for the umpteenth time...getting closer to where I want it to be.

Joined a new Leather Organization last month...actually a coalition of sorts of NYC area groups...very excited about the possibilities there. Planning to attend The Floating World in Edison, NJ this August and then there's a Star Trek Convention in November (around my birthday time) that I'm planning for as well...not sure though if I will be able to afford to get the Lady Sirella outfit I want specially made (any subbies out there in the area who know how to sew??)

Um...what else? That's all I can think of.

check out http://www.thefloatingworld.org/

Actually, no.  My husband has always stayed nuetral during sessions, so that part really hasn't changed much.  Now, he'll just be paying more attention to certain aspects.  He's always appreciated My ability with the physical, now he is more interested in the mental/emotion aspect.  I'm very anxious for him to learn the finer points of the dynamic.  If anything, it will clear confusion for him and make some things clearer.

Unrepentant, always wonderful to hear from you.  I hope you are well.

Hello LadyImpact, thanks for sharing!  I am glad you found someone to play with, he sounds
delightful.  I have to laugh at you putting out the drunk and disorderly people at the play party.
I am glad you did, what were they thinking?  I can't imagine that behavior at a public exhibit,
how rude.
Now you have your husband interested in it also.  It would be fun if you become a Domme/Dom couple!

MistressNoName I started it a couple of months ago, so we could get updates
on each other.  I enjoy hearing how everyone is doing.
I will send you the link on the other side.
The Leather Organization sounds interesting, its nice that several area groups can
join and create a coalition.
Good luck on the outfit, I can barely sew on buttons!

VeryMercurial, thanks for the update

My first time posting on this on going thread.
Personal wise I am still searching for the right new job.  The current one is a bloody nightmare.  Wonderful boss and co workers.....wretched working conditions, etc.
Also I have made it through the Boot Camp part of the Mentors program I & my husband are doing this year.  Although we have both been in the lifestyle for some time and are active in the local community we decided one can never learn too much about BDSM.  This program has something to offer no matter where a dominant is on their personal journey.  It requires a lot of work and time but I am thrilled to be allowed to participate.

I have been blessed to have encountered two lovely male subs through collarme and their training is progressing well.  I just had a delightful session with one today and am still jazzed from the topspace.  I am anticipating a mid week session with the other one this week.  Our little leather family is growing :-).

Health wise I have joined Curves.  This is my first time to actually join a gym.  In the past I have always worked out solo or with a walking partner and did well.  Now I am having to deal with moderate to severe back and hip problems so I need some professional guidance.  Aging is not for the timid lol.  But I need to get in shape so I can keep the three lovely men in my life busy lol.

Looking forward to the season of renewal and new chances.

Ahhhhh okay where to start.  Well much is going on in my life.  My boy and I are moving our relationship to a much deeper level and that brings me much joy.  My daughter just found out that she was accepted to a school in Kentucky with a full scholarship so I may be moving because she is hesitant about going that far away from home alone.  So that should prove to be interesting.  I havent' been to Kentucky in over 25 years.  I quit smoking as of today so here's believing that is going to be a successful venture.  Next month I have to have surgery to have my thyroid removed so I am working to get in the best shape possible in one month's time.  I am thinking about joining Black Rose to open myself up more to my local community even if it is only for a few months.  Guess I'll have to do some research and see what the scene is like in KY.  Well that's all for now.

MzMia *smiles*   What a wonderful turn on My name.  Do you know, no One has ever called Me that before.  I quite like it.  You brought Me a great grin.

I certainly do appreciate your comment on putting the D & D out during the public exhibit.  Truthfully, I was shocked at the rudeness.  I'm very satisfied with the result of the incident.

My thanks to You for making Me feel so welcomed here.

I'm taking a break from a lot of BDSM relationships and working on my base life at this time.
I'm going through a divorce & my first hearing is 4/4, my Mom's in the hospital 1-1/2 hrs from me for 6 months now so I'm running the highway visiting her, I'm seeking a new job as when my divorce is final I'm losing my health insurance & what my office offerers is very expensive for crappy coverage.
Based on salary and locations when I find a job I may be moving as I live in an unfinished basement apt and would like to afford to do better than that.
Mostly I'm being sure to walk 2-4 miles a day in the morning & stretch daily to keep in shape.
It's a wonderful way to start my day peacefully being I'm very outdoor oriented.

I'm planning on doing lots of camping and hiking this spring before it gets too hot to really enjoy it.
I'm also beginning to be scheduled to work at the local dungeon more often so I'll be out in the community seeing my friends even though I'm mostly putting my BDSM activities on the back burner as far as dating or playing now.
Over all I'm working on being there for my family, loved ones & friends and improving my life and my quality of living.

Ah, spring when a young mans fancy turns to.......ok, still trying to figure that one out.

Feeling less down than last month, even though i agree on the ALLERGY sentiment. Not liking the headaches at all!

Found a nice sub who i am exploring with. Just when i think it is going to work it doesn't, but with an acceptable excuse. My question for myself at this point is how many excuses can i find acceptable before i feel the need to move on. Still hoping that working through this will make us stronger for the moment

Life at home is better. My partner and i are closer than ever, which is sweet. We are back to making each other laugh alot, which is always a good thing. He is accepting of me finding myself a toy and has become more concerned over me being taken advantage of than about it hurting us as a couple.

And my best friend may be able to come visit and use all the toys that i can't (sybian, erocillators, etc)

Now that my daughter is working and driving i hardly ever see her. That's a new thing for me. Not sure how well i am adjusting, lol.  Going to have to start scheduling mommy/daughter time i think just to catch up. Looking forward to our trip in August with her best friend to Toronto for the Harry Potter Symposium (even though i do not know enough not to embarrass them at this point, lol).

Hope everyone else is doing well!

My head is spinning this month!!

Packing up all my stuff for the cross country move to Las Vegas. Its amazing how much stuff you accumulate in your lifetime, isn't it? Well, I'm being brutal, TRULY brutal, and only packing up what will fit in my car. Though I may have to get a roof rack for the shoes. I mean.. come on, who could leave shoes behind??? Trying to sell off all my furniture and stuff... if that doesn't work I'll haul it down to the salvation army.

Found a job out there already, its only part time to start, but it will give me something to live on and stretch my savings while I look for that perfect job. Plus will give me a local name to drop while I'm searching.

Started yoga in the mornings. It actually really is very calming. I thought it was all hype, but I'm really enjoying it!

Also working major overtime at my current job. The sous chef quit as well, so they are pretty short-staffed. They might be in some serious trouble this summer! Ah well, not my problem anymore.

The move is set to start on April 21st. I'm so excited!!!

Ah I just had a week with my boy and it was fabulous.  He is away on business for over a month this time so during this month I will be working a lot and trying to finish some of our projects that we have together.  We will also be planning our summer vacation in Hawaii so anyone who is familiar with Honolulu and wants to suggest some fabulous places to see or restaurants, please let me know.

I will also be celebrating my birthday this month...in 9 days, actually.  April is one of my favorite months and I anticipate having a great one.  Well wishes to everyone :)

For those that are having a hard time thus far this month, I am sending lots of positive energy your way.
For those having a good one thus far, I hope it continues for you!

Happy early birthday, MzKat! I hope this one will be the best one yet! Sounds like you are goign to have a blast on your vacation no matter what!!!

For me the month has started pretty well. I bought a lot of new toys to add to my toy bag including a 25 piece Violet Wand set that I have been wanting for literally years! I just moved to Ocala from Jacksonville this past Jan. so I just went ot my first munch at a new group this past weekend. I had a blast and met a lot of really great people. This weekend I have a lovely female submissive coming to spend the wekend with me that I shall certainly make good use of. <ewg>. In addition, my calendar is quickly filling up with various BDSM events and munches to attend. Sometimes, I think I may need a second job  just to pay for it all lol. Oh well I am having a balst going anyway! The only sort of downside I am having is that I still have not found the right boy or girl for a longterm relationship. I am not stressing it though as I have faith I will find the right one! In the mean time, I am just enjoying learning, growing and the great scenes and service I get from others!

Have a great month everyone!
