"Survey shows Britons checking up on partners"

POSTED: 11:43 p.m. EDT, April 2, 2007

"LONDON, England
(Reuters) -- Britons are a nation of spies, rifling through their partners' text messages, tapping phone conversations and even tailing loved ones with web cams and satellite navigation systems, a survey reveals.

The most favored way of keeping tabs on a partner is checking their text messages, with more than half (53 percent) of those questioned admitting sneaking a peek. The number shoots up to 77 percent in the 25 to 34 age group."

That is either sweet and loving, or a sign of jealousy and distrust.

Could this stem from the Royals?  I feel quite sure that Dinah checked up on Charlie, else why did she ditch his ass?

These figures cannot be correct. 75% of Britons are unable to read and write well enough to know what any text message says or should say if they are writing it.

Mind you, it would explain the divorce rate, what with all the misunderstandings.
