Devilslilsister -> Next President Election? (4/3/2007 9:13:37 AM)

We all know i hate politics, but this morning i happened to allow myself to watch CNN.  Said that "Bush renews vow to veto Iraq bill"  Ya know the one about them getting a deadline.  I swear Bush will never win a popularity contest nor any intelligence contests.

Gah - so when do we get to rid of him?  Is it this year or the next?

As much as I despise King George, to be fair to him everyone is playing a politics game. Clearly this bill is not what he wants and him vetoing it is a possibility. The people who passed it are clearly trying to use money to influence his Commander in Chief right in doing what he thinks best no matter how stupid it is.

Both though are mainly trying to get the higher ground and accuse the other of not supporting the troops, when the majority of the American people have saw through that B.S. PR crap, see last election. The truth is as long as there are troops in harms way a President generally gets a blank check and do not look for that to change. One giant game of chicken!

Cannot waint for January of 2009!

Wonder if Bush is plotting to get around the next election, in a similar manner to obedience to human rights law

So he should just capitulate to the dems and sign the pork laden bill which ties the hands of his field commander.
No, count on the VETO which will not be overridden.
The better question is what votes had to be bought just to hold the bill together.. even Rangel ( who is as wacky as they get admits the dems bought the votes)
