"Police: Man swiped 1,500 women's undies"

 POSTED: 8:39 a.m. EDT, March 27, 2007

"PULLMAN, Washington (AP) -- A man was charged with theft and burglary after police said they found 93 pounds of women's panties, brassieres and other underwear at his home.

Investigators believe Garth M. Flaherty, 24, took as many as 1,500 undergarments from apartment complex laundry rooms before he was caught, police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said."

You have to wonder how much of that will fit into the evidence room at the local PD.  [:D]

Sounds like someone has "lingerie OCD", hehe.[:D]

I remember hearing, or reading somewhere, that in Japan, a person can buy "used" female panties from vending machines. Maybe these police should sell this guy's loot to some Japanese used panties vending machine merchants?

christ, even women dont own 93 pairs of panties, these cross dressers go way overboard.

That was the first thought I had Ron!

And then the question whether this guy had confessed to stealing it all and the shame that goes with that, in preference to admitting it was all his!

What I want to know is whether he stole them as trophies
for his collection or if he actually wore them.  It would
also be very enlightening to find out what images are
stored on his computer.

This has caused me to wonder.. what (if any) fetishes would women have that equate to the this one?

Lotus: Well, none immediately spring to mind that are an exact parallel happening with a female, but I do think it's a little bit like having OCD - you know those cases where someone "collects" stuff  - anything from old newspapers to cats, and then one day the police go to their house and find out they have something like 150 cats living with them, and they have to call the humane society or animal rescue, etc. That can happen to either sex, but actually, the "cat collectors" I've read about are usually women (although that could just be coincidence).

In my younger years, I lived in an apartment across the hall from an old woman who had so many stacks of old newspapers, dating back to the 1940's, in her living and bedrooms, she could barely navigate around the floor. It was bizarre, and she refused to throw them out. She had a form of OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder).
