is the single greatest beverage ever invented by mankind.  is should be recommended by physicians that 8 cans of diet coke be consumed per day rather than glasses of water.  and... just one calorie!

i gave up all soda except club soda but i drink xs energy drink which has ten flavors and 0 calories and no sugar

maybe at the most 8 calories on a few of the flavors

better than all of the rest of the energy sports drinks

do u realize how much sugar is in soda about 8 tbs of sugar and have u ever watched what it does to battery acid and that is what soda is doing to your insides

greetings,

diet coke is wonderful...except for the aspartame. i drink it anyway, though. ;) my mom drank it when i was growing up, so i was raised on it. diet dr. pepper's pretty awesome, too.

CokeZero. I'm glad I gave it a try- really is better than diet coke I think

I agree Diet Coke is da bomb. But you gotta be careful with it. It has a ton of caffeine in it, which does nasty things to your metabolism, plus dehydrates you. So I've come to a point now where I switch back and forth at work. For every can of Diet Coke I drink, I drink a 12 oz bottle of water. Cuts down on my Coke consumption and ups my water intake. All to the good.

First of all, thats how much sugar is in regular soda, not diet.

Second of all.. you have battery acid on your insides?? No? Then how can you make that comparison?

Not saying soda is good for you, 'cause it ain't. But I also don't like when people spout missinterpereted "facts" to tell others why they are so unhealthy. Reminds me of my smoking days when people would come up to me and say "Do you know how bad that is for you?"

Diet coke tastes bad aaand it's nothing healthier than normal coke. I prefer soda, sprite, 7up myself or pepsi max or energy drinks...powerade's delicious

I can't drink or eat things that contain artifical sweetners since I have a bad allergic reation to them. Which means I can't even drink the zero calorie waters, gum, all diet drinks, yada yada yada.

Took me three days while in the hospital for hyper tension to convince him it was real and not an excuse for me to have real sugar and honey.

Lemonade or Iced Tea are my drinks of choice. Occassionally i'll 'splurge' and buy a 12 pack of Diet Dr. Pepper. But that's as far as i go with drinking pop.

I just read something the other day about diet drinks with aspartame.. They can cause very serious health problems
I don't drink soda.. my choice of drink is coffee, tea , water , OJ and once in a while a class of whine.

i love fizzy water....i had to give it up.. We don't keep it at home unless for a party or munch.  Occasionally we will go away for weekends to a resort or the like and i will drink diet soda the whole time.  By the end of the weekend i am depressed, lethargic, bitchy and just miserable every single time.
I hadnt had diet soda in quite a while and we went to a restaurant Monday night.  i had diet caffeine free and sure enough the next day i felt horrible again so it's water, ice tea and wine for me. <sniffle>
Besides, several of my friends went on a no soda kick last year and that's all they gave up and each one has lost 25+ pounds.

Diet Coke = Made of Good.

Diet Cherry Coke = Made of Win.

Cherry Coke Zero = Made of Awesome AND Win.

But I have been trying to cut back on the soda, even diet stuff... since the aspartame in it is supposedly a carcinogen. Yeaaaah... I think I'll drink more water now, thanks.
