at age 13 i was given a bedspread...for some reason that stood out as a really boring gift...can't imagine what i thought would have been a good one at that age...a mood ring? [:D]

The worst Christmas I ever had was the one where my gifts were a 2nd hand stereo with an 8-track player that was over a decade old at the time, and a pair of child's barettes with little hearts on them. This wasn't due to lack of finances. It was to prove some sort of point, but I never did figure out exactly what it was. My ex was really good at chosing horrible gifts for me, but he never managed to top that one.
