Let me clarify the concept here :)

A sub finally finds the Domme of his dreams. She demands tribute!! Their interactions start out very D/s (what he wants and expects).. but then it begins to dissolve into a slap and tickle situation, yard work..just mundane things. The guy tolerates it for awhile more especially if the Domme tells him it's to be his form of slavery to her... plus she still continues to demand money from him.

He wakes up eventually to realize how much time and money he's wasted.

While to each his own can be considered.. there are people out there that seek to portray themselves as Domme just for this purpose.

well, i think if the context changes severely [ie- in the beginning he was allowed to play with her, but eventually she restricts him to sole service] then there may be a problem, considering needs and the obvious fact that it in not the idea of a relationship that they set up in the beginning.

now, if she never was *with* him, and the service just became a bit dull for him, well then maybe he is not as service/tribute orientated as he once imagined and hoped. i can see how he might feel bored, resentful, disregarded, all these things ..... but if it had been the arrangement [tribute/service only] well then the problem is his, not hers. he needs to reevaluate what his needs are and how he plans on expressing devotion to dommes.

granted, it can also just be some newbie getting worked over, but hey, in your story - he woke up eventually.

Dommes have the advantage of this facet. i dont see many men taking advantage of tribute from girls around here. it could just be as hormonal as the fact that women take more pleasure in pampering from material items [of course, not to say this goes across the board]

but this woman has as much right to express her wants in any form as any other Dom does as well. its a matter of executional semantics.
if she is just plain using a man, well ....... let her deal with that when she meets her maker. i am a fan of karma.

I think this happens more often that we'd like to think. Someone thinks "Hmm, I can get someone to do all  this stuff for me and in return I don't have to do much? Great! Of course I don't want to actually have to do any of that kinky stuff but maybe I can fake my way through it online."
