A most courteous and gracious greetings to everyone in the CollarMe community!

My name is Dan; I'm a thirty-nine (who looks thirty-two, sorry I need to say that) year old intelligent Bi male living in Toronto. I've been intrigued with exploring my BDSM urges for awhile, but have been quite cautious and shy.

I guess I'd consider myself a switch; I have a very strong submissive side when it comes to strong, "alpha"-people (especially mature, wise ones!) but then I see ads on here from young cute submissives and I feel the urge to spank them. I'm probably confused, but in a good way.

Right at the moment I'm searching for a Dominant woman or couple; I consider myself possessing very worthwhile qualities and I'm working on improving myself even more.

However, my shyness in exploring further the BDSM community has limited me much in finding kindred spirits. But I'm not gonna whine about that; that's MY problem :) Posting this introduction is a big step for me, but from what I've read from lurking in the forums for awhile now, the community here is wonderful! hello smilindan. welcome to the forum. there is so much to learn on the collarme site..... so many wonderful people to meet. i was once shy. the only way to conquer it is to continue to keep reaching out to people. i wish you the best in your search.
ps. the best way to get rid of that vanilla icecreamcone is to continue to post messages on the forums. as you do, the symbol will continue to change. mine is at the handcuff stage now.

Thank you very much for the kind reply, daejanna0! I was beginning to despair I was gonna be like one of those guys walking into a room saying "Hi!" and everyone just stares.

Good to know about what those symbols mean, maybe one day I'll have my own set of virtual handcuffs, at least they don't melt under direct sunlight, much like vanilla ice cream.
