i happen to have very sensitive skin. a fingernail will mark me. While i really enjoy being disciplined, even a moderate caning will mark me and produce long lasting welts. Obviously this can be a source of frustration to my Mistress and to me during those periods when my other life demands no marks. i'd really appreciate advice on non-marking methods that would satisfy both our needs. Electrical play might be one option to explore, but i'm talking to a community who have seen everything at one time or another so i'd appreciate Your input

Status: offline 		Have you talked to a doctor about the sensitive skin? Perhaps there is something in the way of supplements you can take to help out with that. I know I have rather sensitive skin as well and I have been taking a skin/hair/nail supplement from GNC that has helped me out alot. In the three months i've been taking it I have noticed a marked improvement.

Research a condition called dermographism.

I have this condition. It also causes me to have extremely sensative skin.
On top of that I've always had delicate skin that bruises way easier than most people.
For exapmle I've usually had bruises lasting 2-3 weeks after play I didn't feel was as extreme as I've seen some take that barely bruised at all.
What the allergist said when I outed myself to him asking if this welting would cause damage to my skin in heavy or frequent good spankings was no.
He said other then the actual hive effects causing discomfort it does not cause any other skin issues or complications.
LOL this hit me last summer.
It definately leaves me with a MUCH hotter butt than I use to have after a spanking.
I figure as long as it does no additional damage to my skin, nerves, or veins I don't worry over it much & I don't take the antihistamine stuff to curb the symptoms.
I figure I'd rather be sensative and itchy rather than bubble headed by the medicines.
LOL besides, I have had friends take a dull key or stick and do things like write their names on me.
They get a kick out of seeing the welts come up and their words swelling up in my skin for 30 minutes or so.
It's like a party gag thing that can add fun to your night if you guys play it right.

Maybe if you get some of that it will help with your bruises healing faster.

And have you tried applying ice to the skin
before and after a session?

PS.... something else I thought of that helped me be a little more comfortable say after a spanking or when it's really hot and irritating it is an oatmeal bath and then aloe gel once I get out.

Status: offline 		Witch Hazel also helps with swelling, itching and stinging and it does not burn like alcohol.
 
Here in the islands aloe cures just about anything too!!! We use it straight from the plant and it's smelly and gooey and it can stain, but it works wonders.  A drugstore bought lotion with aloe will do as well.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the advice, I will mention it to my Doctor at my next visit. Witch hazel and the other options mentioned i will definitely try. However my best guess is that i have delicate skin and will just have to abstain from the gym/pool after a disciplining, still looking for ways to allow my Mistress to infict on me that are non-marking

Status: offline 		Try applying arnica before and after play.  It reduces bruising quite a bit on me and I too have very sensitive skin.  You can find it in most health food stores.

Status: offline 		If even light play marks you up, and you are worried about marks being visible at the gym or pool, I don't recommend use of the violet wand as it has been known to mark up sensitive skin.

I have played with people where a warmup with floggers and light hand spanking will toughen up the skin so that canes do not leave welts, so that is a possible route for you to try.

Also, canes can be used on the feet and hands (do a search on bastinado) and it rarely leaves marks. Even so, the marks would be relatively inconspicuous.

Status: offline 		You mentioned electricity play but I must warn you that the violet wand can leave marks as well, depending on the electrode and how it is used. The Ten's Unit should not leave marks especially if a conductor gel is used with it, though that may cause skin issues as well if your skin is that sensitive, though I have never seen it happen.

Having said that some creative punishments include mustard on the penis. A nice little dab of
the brown and spicy kind on the underside where the web is at the point that the head joins the
shaft should be uncomfortable and not mark you.

What about a ginger tea enema with a ginger root plug inserted to hold it in for a while?

Some rubbing alcohol on the balls should cause some discomfort after a time.

Oh yes there is always plucking pubic hairs out one by one, unless your owner keeps you hairless.

There is also the old standby of being made to hold an uncomfortable position that puts strain on muscles.....Like the position of sitting in a chair with no chair there......That is gonna hurt
like hell after a while.

I am surprised your owner could not have thought of some of these on his or her own!
