Status: offline 		the way my middle child hums and slurps while he is eating, i have now taken to not eating my meal when i am with him...... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR he is eating an ice lolly right now and it is driving me MADDDDDDDDDDD!!

Status: offline 		I personally wouldn't separate myself because of that during meal time.  I would correct him for it; I certainly do with my daughter.  She has a habit of clanking her teeth with the eating utensil as it goes into her mouth . And she will pull the utensil out of her mouth and use her teeth to take the food off of it, instead of her lips. thereby creating that teeth-scrape-against-steel sound.   I just tell her to stop doing it.  And chewing with mouth open is enough to send me over the edge.  I cannot stand to hear other people's food crunching in their mouths.  I also dislike slurping,  but will tolerate it when hot soup or a popcicle is being eaten.

People do this to me with my height.  (I happen to be very short.)  When I meet people for the first time, they just have to say "wow you're short".  or some stupid joke like "Have you been short all your life", or "gosh I didn't realize you were so short until I was standing next to you".  Its weird, but yes, they do feel the need to inform me of my shortness, because they aren't sure if Im aware of it.

Next time they ask if you've been short all your life, have a little fun. Tell them you've had a little trouble adjusting after the wreck, you lost 4 inches of height after the fusion of your vertebrae, and your prostheses aren't as long as your original legs. Thank them for being kind enough to ask, and ask them would they mind carrying your groceries to the car/assisting you in the bathroom/making a donation to your medical fund.......be creative, have fun with them. *grins* This is not to make light of anyone who does have medical disabilities, it is merely to do a public service in educating the ignorant and thoughtless into maybe stopping to think before they speak.

My husband is the king of this kind of "on the spot remedial education", and we've had endless fun at the expression on the recipients' faces when they get just a little more information than they bargained for.

Status: offline 		When you get home from the store and open a package and it is empty because a shoplifter had stolen the item from the store, but if you had opened the box to check to see if there was something in it you would have been followed through the store and accosted as being a shoplifter.

Going through a drive-thru at a fast food restaurant and they only half fill the drink... There have been several times I have gotten drinks half full and handed them back and said, "Excuse me, but should this not be full, I did pay for a full cup not one half empty?"

Going through a drive-thru and getting home to find not everything you ordered is there or if you ordered something special it is not the way you ordered it. I even had a cheeseburger once without the top part of the bun. I always complain and 1-800-TACO-BELL knows me by voice now...

I hate it when I get emails here on cm, when I have four pictures on my profile, and people ask, "So what do you look like?"

I hate it when I get emails, especially here on cm, when I get one liners like, "Do you have any photos of your breasts?"  First of all, I know my breasts are big, mmmmkay?  And secondly, yes I have photos of them--they're in EVERY shot I take.  I can't detach them, you know.  Or, my favorite, "Where are the booty pics?"  If I wanted you to see them, love, I would've put them on my profile.

when police officers (or any other city official) chat on their cell phones while driving in their squad cars - i thought the law also applied to them as well

when people are *insert whatever from applying makeup to eating* while driving - saw one woman blowing a stop sign because she was applying makeup while driving ...good thing the crossing guard was there to stop the kids from crossing the street.

I do sit with my children at the table during meals  and I have a cup of coffee/tea, BUT I am unable to eat my own meal with them. I do correct him and sometimes its not as bad .. thank goodness.. the slurping comes with everything, my son has a habit of sticking his tongue out when sucking things... ice lollies etc and the niose is so bad even the dog looks at him and moves....lol

Co workers who check their mail boxes in the morning and the next thing you hear, "Oh, now I guess I'm supposed to fill this out, how do they expect us to...Blah blah blah." On and on for fifteen minutes. Just do it and it's over.

people tease me or make me hang on for something i need .... (outside of the bedroom .. there its yummy)
people tell me to be calm ... i am always calm .. i can count the number of people who have really seen me angry
