Well for me this about terms of endearment.  Which for me grow organically.  So in addition to the suggestions already made there is calling by his given name.  Or honey.  Or Boss.   Jefe.  Or whatever.  I call Daddy 'Daddy' most of the time, I kinda get off on the incestuous overtones.  But depending upon what we're up to it could be any number of things including his royal geezerness, my geek, the geez or anything else which is meaningful to us.

Interesting, i suppose i hadn't really thought of it but i never called my Dad Daddy either so it's not an issue or maybe it was a premonition of the life to come.  Daddy has always been a reference to such things as "who's your Daddy" in my time.  i tried Pappa Bear once but apparently that has been a homosexual term in some movie or something so that didn't go over well with Him.

If you go to freetranslation.com and put in Daddy it will give you a few options such as Vati/German.  Vati sounds nice.  like an italian gangster[:D]

greetings buffy,

i think everyone runs into what to call each other problems, regardless of what kind of "alternative" relationship you're in. He doesn't seem to get off on master or sir (reminds Him too much of the military), He's not really a daddy dom, and He has kids and i used to call my dad that, so "daddy" is out of the question...we actually have names (not our given names, but names rather than titles/terms of endearment) that we call each other, that hold more endearment for us than titles/pet names like that (although He refers to me using terms of endearment, like sweetheart, as well). this has worked really well for us, as our names for each other describe us very well.

I call my Daddy what he desires. It was never my choice, I knew if we got involved that was what he would be to me, my Daddy. It sounded weird to me at first, I was not looking for a Daddy, but I quickly came to love the way it felt to call him that.

It felt strange for me to call him Daddy in the beginning. Like others have said it starts to feel right. My Daddy doesn't like terms of endearments so Daddy became my substitute for honey, sweetie, dear, and now it's simply his name.

if there just has to be a biological connection to your term of endearment, how about Uncle(especially if you don't have any)?[:)]
 
personally, this slave has never had the inclination to refer to anyone she has an intimate sexual relationship with as Daddy or Mommy and has never sought out anyone who referred to themselves as such with anyone but a biological offspring, either...if Master had required it, it would have been a very hard psychological/psychosexual row to hoe.

The Daddy thing certainly would take some getting used to for me....but what about Sugar Daddy?  That sounds a little more fun and less familiar.   I like  Marine Replica best....  here are a couple more that I like for your perusal:

I call my Master, Master but if  he was a daddy Dom i personaly woiuld use Papa.. O\ i mean i call my own dad daddy sometimes.

We are fortunate enough to get the LOGO channel, where there is always something on worth seeing. It has a regular series featuring gay comics. One guy had a great opening. He said; "My life is a little confusing because my boyfriend and my father have the same name - 'Daddy'!"

Ironically it was the other way around, he felt strange nhe got used to it. I next to never call him anything but daddy now .
