My mom used to make these really good no-bake cookies with chow mein noodles and chocolate (and other things I'm sure) and I am really wanting to make them for my hall. Does this sound familiar to anyone and does anyone have the recipe? I have been searching online and can't find anything.

Never mind, I found it, it's just chocolate and the noodles, and peanuts or cashews if you want them. Thanks anyway

Thanasosian? Never could spell his nick here. Also posted it a while back. I believe it was in this same section under recipes. It may be a bit different thant he one you found.

Maybe do a search for chow mein noodles?

Those were always my favorite when i visited my Nana as a kid. She just melted chocolate chips and stirred in the chow mein noodles and put them on wax paper to harden, very easy.

Somehow I had an idea that they were more complicated then that. This is great though, I can make them in my dorm room without having to go to the basement to use the kitchen (that's four flights down and with my arthritis acting up the last week or two it seems like a much longer distance)

Hi siamsa...
My mom makes them all the time.
She makes Milk chocolate ones and
peanut butter ones, those which she
melts the peanut butter chips.
If there's anything she does different,
I'll let you know...
