Tomorrow I will be having Easter dinner with my children and my ex (package deal there) and will be having a roasted chicken (my kids choice), sweet potatoes, broccoli and carrots. Dessert will be rice pudding, it's everyone's fave (no raisins in there either lol). I always spend the holidays with my family. Will be having a nice breakfast in church before services with my family- should prove to be a very nice day. I cannot believe I totally forgot Easter was this week until my kids reminded me, been under alot of stress here lately...I made the Easter baskets full of goodies, dyed the eggs...being a good Mommy I wish you all the best Easter with friends and family and for those who do not celebrate Easter, I hope you have a very good weekend as well...(hugs)

Sigh, I'm working on Easter this year.

Normally it would be a nice Leg of lamb, Ham or a Roast with garlic/bacon/cheese mashed potatoes. Fresh green beans or asparagus. A spring mix salad with my basalmic vinnagrette. Mini sourdough breads or fresh biscuits. Last year I did mini cheesecakes for dessert with a variety of toppings all set out for individual wants.

Has anyone noticed how damn hard it is to find a solid chocolate rabbit anymore??? I went to 5 stores trying to find one this year and finally found one at See's.

So far as I know, I am meeting a friend for lunch for easter. Its his birthday, so we decided to go out and have some fun. Angel will be with his family that day, so I wont be seeing him. I should speak to him late tomorrow night, but thats about it.
Easter dinner will be on my own, im guessing.  Depend son what i am in the mood to make.

Everyone is home for Easter.  We'll have dinner with close and extended family, plus my brother's in-laws.  Everyone takes a dish or more and it will be a fun time.  Tomorrow is family day, today the kids get to hang out with their friends.  Although they did allow me the honor taking them shopping today.  hehe

Probably I will be having some soup or pudding.  I have been violently ill since Friday night and couldn't keep anything down until this morning (oatmeal), so I'm not going to push it.

Was planning to go out to Easter Brunch, but cancelled out of that.

for the last twelve years or so the family O' Domiguy serve up an Easter meatloaf that depicts Christ on the crucifix.  My mother,Dommenique, has developed a cooking technique that when you cut into the side of Christ (The meatloaf) that a reddish gravy pours out of "the wound."....It really is quite breathtaking as well as delicious.

I am having broiled shrimp and scallops, with a baked potato and possibly a treat for dessert.  I have decided it's not so bad being alone on Easter, (I have to be because of my diet)...I will make the best of it.

edited cause I have 300 ppl all on msngr and the same time and my fingers can only type so fast.

The ham is in the oven right now.  We're also having cheese potatoes, cucumber salad, broccoli, yeast rolls...and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake for dessert.
