Status: offline 		Sir and I don't have any rules about panties, usually.  I can generally choose whether or not I wear them.   He likes checking for the surprise. :D

I generally prefer not wearing them under pants, as I don't like VPL but hate wearing thongs.  I will sometimes wear them under skirts.  Sometimes, panties are just too cute and must be worn. :)

Status: offline 		Everyone's made great points here.  For me it just depends on the situation.  I happen to love panties on my lady in the bedroom.  I find them very sexy.  They're are just one more thing I can play with.  Of course, eventually I end up ripping them off. lol  But I also love when my lady where's a skirt with no panties in public.  It gives me easy access to finger her under the table while having dinner.  Bottom line, it's done because it turns me on!

Why not regular hose instead of panty hose? It leaves them uncovered where it is important and covers the legs for show below the hem of the skirt. It also gives that poor pussy a chance to breath unlike with panty hose.

Status: offline 		Before i had my surgery i was only allowed to wear panties during that time of the month.  Now that i don't have to worry about that anymore i am not allowed to wear them at all (except in school) he likes to have access.

Status: offline 		My Master has no preference that could be, because I don't wear them except during that time of the month which I think I will start wearing them a few days before I am due, had a bad experience last month..but anyway I don't think wearing pants without underwear gives you yeast at least it cut down on mine.

I believe it can. But on the other hand, wearing panties that aren't made of cotten (think a tight weave or satin-like material) can promote yeast infections. Your vulva and other parts need to breathe.

Status: offline 		after not wearing panties for pretty much the last....at least 8 years, i've starting slowly incorporating them back into my life, and i've got to say, i'm so aware of them touching everywhere they touch....i'd imagine it's akin to the same awareness of freedom panty wearers have when they lose them.  for me not wearing panties isn't exciting, it's normal.  so i'm loving panties right now.  so many more options now than the last time i was looking to buy some too!

Status: offline 		Master prefers no panties, just for the access point of view and He also gets off that someone might get a flash of something.  I never wear them under trousers, which I wear mostly to work, and only wear them under short skirts ie above the knee for work. Today i am wearing a long skirt, but as i had an appointment at the Doctors i have put on some panties, but they are really filmsy cami knickers, so 'decent' but still very accessible.

He also prefers that I do not wear a bra, however, he adores clevage and i am required to have 'good' clevage at all times i am trying hard to educate him that no bra = no clevage, think i'm getting there!

Status: offline 		i'll admit i never understood the no-panty thing either. i sort of liken it to many men's fantasy of seeing two women be sexual with one another...rather pointless, and a total mystery.

there are about a million and one reasons why never or rarely wearing panties would be impractical, at least for me. like Celeste, my period does not start and end like clockwork, and the idea of bleeding all over my clothes or worse, on the furniture, just doesn't sound very sexy to me. then there's the yeast infection issue...the first and only time i went sans panties while wearing jeans (at a Dominant's demand), i got my very first yeast infection. real sexy. then there's the fact that i have very dry skin due to eczema, and without the protection of panties i get dry as the sahara down there, unless i'm applying baby oil every 10 minutes.

so uh yeah, the no panties thing....for some men i think this is just a hot fantasy, and they don't bother to think of the impracticalities of it for some women. especially if they've encountered women in their past who happily went without panties.
