This just hit me as really Catch 22 funny, but I was reading through the profiles of those who automatically show up when I sign onto collarme, and one of them was of a new person I had not seen before, but with a really hot picture. Now, I don't send out messages to people as a habit; I just observe the people and try to see if maybe I might be the right person for the woman advertising, and on a very, VERY rare moment, I'll send an intrigue to see if she might be interested. For the most part, I often place someone in favorites to follow their postings, and to indicate that I do find their profile interesting enough to observe from time to time.

Well, this new one stated something along the lines of "Do not contact me unless I am interested in you." Okay, that's kind of hard one to figure out, but okay. Second, "If you put me in your favorites, I will block you and you'll never have a chance with me." Um, okay, but this sets up an interested dilemma because if you ARE interested in her, you aren't going to be able to tell her you're interested in her because she doesn't want you to contact her or place her in her favorites. And then, my favorite: "I only communicate with people who first approach me in a very submissive manner, and no cock pics."

So, she expects you to contact her, but you can't contact her or favorite her, so how does one actually contact someone like this? Telepathy?

My understanding is that most men already have mind-reading abilities. We can walk into a room, spot the hottest woman in the room and immediately know "she wants me" no matter how many times she says "get lost", "I'm not interested", sprays us with pepper spray or calls the cops. Our ability to read minds surpasses all of that irrelevant stuff.

Do you want to be with someone who is this poor at logically reasoning things out?

I don't sweat people who have things like this in their profile or people that respond in other strange or offensive ways, they are simply not the type of people I want to be with. Especially in a relationship context.

Either that or she’s testing you, to see if you’re interested enough to contact her anyway. But I don’t see why she would be willing to be seen as this dumb just for a way to play hard to get.

Well, to be honest, my ability to disqualify someone has way surpassed by ability to actually contact someone because I'm interested in her. I've been working on turning off that criticism in me, even though every now and then, like this one person's profile, I really should.

To be honest, it sounds like a players profile... and a newbie one, at that.

That "approach me but don't approach me" contradiction just shouts out to be translated as "I've read some other profiles of who I want to be, and now I've cut'n'pasted my own profile from bits I think sound good".

There are a lot of immature people in the world. And quite a few them find their way to this site. It sounds to me as if this "Mistress" is not only one of these people, she's probably also someone who's been pursued by a lot of these people. Her response is to put up walls and tell everyone to stay away unless she personally invites them to be part of her life. My advice? Do as she says. Stay far, far away, because you have very little to gain by getting close to her.

I know it's not a rule, but I would say generally a "hot picture" combined with a lot of passive aggressive, bitchy, demanding or nasty profile = pros or someone wanting to play games. Setting up the sub to fail before he has even contacted her is a great way to be a bitch out of the gate.

I think your best bet is to play even less interested, and more confusing. Maybe you could send her a note saying that you were going to write her a letter to introduce yourself, but then decided it wasn't worth it because she is not your type. Also that you considered asking about her interests and desires, but then realized that you couldn't be bothered because you don't like to write letters....unless the person interests you...in which case you would get in touch by NOT contacting them.
