Hi cello! Well, you helped brighten my day too, by writing out such a nice message! I'm actually 19... The only reason my profile says 21, is that I editted it a while ago, but for some reason collarme wouldn't recognise 19 as being "of age" in the UK... so I had to change my age to update it. Guess that qualifies me to be your daughter even more! I'm very happy that you enjoy reading my posts smiles Always happy to please. Minx

Ahh age issues and bdsm...I could go on! Just watch out, many a time someone praises your "wisdom beyond your years" when they like/agree with what you say, just to turn around and chastise your "lack of experience and understanding at your age" when they don't. Not that something like that would ever happen here...:)

Still, a compliment is a compliment when it's said, even if it gets taken back later. Y'all can say what you like.... I will admit freely that I am lacking in experience/ understanding in certain areas! Which is why I love reading all the different perspectives on these forums. I'm most likely a relative newbie to the area of BDSM, having only discovered that the feelings I've always had actually have a name in the past oh, year and a half or so. So I'm sure I'm lacking there! I think most people lack in experience/understanding in some aspects of life that they aren't exposed to regularly. I wouldn't expect you or any non-musicians here to understand areas of what I do for a living, just as I don't think I could be expected to understand say, the world of a stock broker or a doctor or any number of avocations people have. We're always learning I hope; I try to anyway. cello

Wow! It's so early here and I am in a sleep/coffee twilight land. So I have this image of my sexy little Minxy girl out on the brick deck, sitting in the shade with her friends. They're all sitting in a semicircle with a little table and a big dollhouse in the middle. Minx is pouring pretend teaparty tea for all her girlfriends. Post are already copyrighted :) It's an automatic thing for all creative works unless it's a "work for hire." If you send a letter to someone, it's still YOUR work and they can't use it without permission.

I am a norwegian slavegirl... - age 43, with 25 years in the llifestyle. And still I get provoced when someone "grades" others into "not a real slave", or other things. None of us are the same. None of us a alike. None of us have the complete same background, experiences, preferances. We all develope (or at least I hope we all do !) over time, and our experiences makes us who we are. What may feel "real" for me, may feel "unreal" for an other person... - but still I can NOT say that I am more "real" than she/he is ! And they have no rigth to claim to be more "real" than me... I know what feels right for me, in MY life, with MY partner. He knows what feels rigth for him, in HIS life, with me. We are so lucky that we have found each other, and are a match. But our way of living may be completely wrong for another person ! What someone feel is rigth for them, are rigth for them ! Maybe totally wrong for you, or me, or tousands of others... - but STILL rigth for that special person. Who dear to be God, and tell someone that what they feel is important in their life, is wrong ? Everyone have their own preferences. Can't we just respect that ?

If a prosepective second girl started questioning my place beside Master, I wouldn't feel too put out by it. Questioning your role in the selection process is really questioning his decision as Master. Maybe she really doesn't want to be the second. Give her a copy of The Velveteen Rabbit and send her on her way.

Webster's has a few definitions for the word, slave. One of which is the following: slave: n. One who is abjectly subservient to a dominating influence or force. This definition says nothing of it being a legal condition, non consensual, forced, or abusive. It merely states that if person A. is abjectly subservient to person B., then person A, by definition, is a slave. There are many words in the English language that have more than one definition. They don't all have to fit in order for the word to meet the definition's criteria. For example, the word, reed. A reed is a marsh plant. A reed is also something that you put in your woodwind instrument that makes it work. They are both reeds but stuffing a cattail into your clarinet just isn't going to work. The same goes for the different definitions of the word slave. If one fits, then it fits, They don't all need to fit for it to be correct. So to me, a "real" slave would be someone who fits the definition. Someone who is abjectly subervient. Not necessarily perfect, mind you, but subservient just the same. grins Well wishes to everyone! I just wanted to say I agree with you velvetvixen, and was going to state more or less the same thing, that perhaps this slave doesn't want to be a second slave and hasn't realized it. My Master has posted to be a protector for a girl, and yes he did ask my feelings on the idea, and I will be honest, I did not like the idea at first and we had many discussions on it and he laid out what he was expecting from and had plans with the one who sought his protection. I would be his "alpha", he seeks my happiness as much as I seek to make him happy. Any slave that told me that I was not a true slave would certainly not get my seal of approval, and yes it is a good idea to save all conversations between you and prospective slaves. I am not unsure of my submission/slavery with master it comes as natural to me as breathing and Master is very HAPPY with my service to him and to me that is all that matters.
