Cowards and Hypocrites are what Fox has built an empire upon....Why give Fox the chance to host a fair and balanced debate?...That is the tag line right?  I have no problem with candidates answering the hard questions.

the people who watch FOX do not want to hear the answers to those "hard questions" or else they would never be watching this network.

Interesting. So, the reason they invite the dude is so they don't have the hear the answers to the "hard questions"?

Your... what can we call it, because it's not way of thinking... actually scares me. I mean, that there acutally are people in the world that have what you said going through your head.

Oh c'mon, dear.  You don't like democratic contenders being asked legitimate questions?  You can't possible only want them to be asked the kind of soft ball, b.s. questions that Chris Mathews asks on "Lard Ball"....excuse me...."Hard Ball" or the crrraaaaaaaaaap that Tim Russert asks?

i watch and listen to CNN and MSNBC.  i cannot tolerate the people from the right on the "fair but balanced" network Fox.  They are so far slanted.

I disagree.  They aren't slanted, they are conservative.  Conservatism is a political philosophy.  Why shouldn't the people on Fox ask questions that take their political phiolosophy into account?

popeye1250 -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:37:38 PM)

It really doesn't make any difference.
Sen. Aba Dabba is all done.
"The Reverand" Jesse Jackson gave him his endorcement the other week. The kiss of death.

People who watch fox do not want to be mentally stimulated...What they get is what they crave...there own idealogy puked back up for them to consume....That is why they are the most "unknowledgeable" of all viewers of news.

Go puke if you want to....But it is probably comprised primarily of wasted brain cells.

lockedaway -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:40:37 PM)

lolololololol  I dunno...I hope Osama....wait....Obama?  I hope Obama stays in and gains momentum just to watch Hillary implode.

If you cannot see that there is a slant to the news on FOX then there is no use in carrying on a conversation....What color is the sky?

As i had said previously why would you be on a network that you have contrary beliefs to and add to their coffers?  Totally baffles me and if the other two major candidates have already done the above why not follow suit?  Many who have a more liberal view as myself i think would understand my rationale.  In no way would i endorse something i totally abhor by appearing on them and by doing so be able them to have any financial gain.

domiguy -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:45:17 PM)

There is no benefit to appear on FOX....This network has no credibility...It is valued only by people who have lost the ability to think for themselves.

lockedaway -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:48:30 PM)

I was going to ask you the same question.  You don't recognize a news programs that views solutions to the world's problems from the application of conservative politics just like you view the solutions to the world's problems through a prism of liberalism.

"Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate"

By JIM KUHNHENN, Associated Press Writer

"Obama, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, will take part in a different debate hosted by the CBC Institute and CNN in January.

"CNN seemed like a more appropriate host," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said.

Obama's decision comes three days after former Sen. John Edwards, another Democratic presidential candidate, announced he was pulling out of the Fox-sponsored debate.

Without Edwards or Obama, the debate would lack two marquee contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination."

No offense meant but....who gives a shit?

This is all in the beginning stages....it's still a horse race.

lockedaway -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:50:32 PM)

I think the reason why you would appear on a news network that has a different political bias is because your hard core followers would hail you as a super hero if you did well AND you might even pick up swing voters.

domiguy -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:55:17 PM)

I don't like to rely on a network that has no interest in the truth...And thereby leaves it's viewers comforted within their own beliefs....But totally ignorant of the facts as they relate to the world around them.

lockedaway -> RE: "Obama to skip Fox-sponsored debate" (4/9/2007 8:57:02 PM)

Cite your sources and your examples for that kind of libel. :)

lolol right.  But Domiguy needs to cite some examples when O'Reilly, or Fox News, had to make retractions or was shown to be lying?  Otherwise, the whole "that network lies" crap is just blather.

So? Why is Obama refusing to talk to them? They still have the same rights as any other citizen, and they still will vote. He should give them the opportunity to listen to his platform.

Or does this attitude presage the inclinations of an eventual Obama administration, where such "unknowldegeable" people are not fairly represented by the Government?
