I often hear the phrase "brat" in reference to a sub, usually myself, for not complying with a specific Dom/mes online wishes. But if a Dominant tells you to do something online (in my case, perform a cam show to prove i am real), and I have no real interest in them and tell them so, and they start responding with comments like "oh, you must be a man." "turn on that cam." I tell them no thank you, I am not interested, but they persist. To me, this persistance and badgering is a mark of a bratty Dominant. Have any of you run across this sort of behavior, and do you find it acceptable?

yes, i have run across this sort of behavior; i usually just ignore them.

Yes I have definately run across it and no it's not acceptable. They just get to pretend it is because they are the almighty master so their word always goes and is always correct.

Hehehehe. I LOVE this term. I have encountered meany bratty Dom's. Most people who demand to have your cam turned on (with out knowing that person before hand) aren't worth a pile of snot in the lifestyle. Granted, it's hard to tell if anyone is who they claim to be online but I suppose people will just have to trust other people until they're proven wrong.

To me, this isn't being a brat. This is simply exhibiting inappropriate behavior that crosses emotional boundaries. I've been called a brat. I simply stuck my tongue out at them. Thhhhppppt! Master Fire

That's not a brat, that's a horny net geek. I know a self proclaimed brat dom. He and his sub, who is also bratty, have been together for years. They miss no chance to score witticisms off each other, even in fora posts. And their affection and enjoyment of the game is fun to see.

I agree. That is just adorably hot. As for "bratty Dommes". Yes, I've met a few. I tried being polite. Then I just laughed and made confusing nerdy jokes until they left. Fun times for all. :)

Yes, the "cam-thing" is a common problem, and I assume they would call me bratty as I tell them they should taste the cane. [:D]
