beyond mummifying your sub or slave it makes a great freshness keeper for your fruit salad and various other chilled foods. anything beyond that i have no clue as I would never put it anywhere near someones nose or mouth. Death is a hard limit for me and my subs

I have seen it used over the face using a breathing straw, though I admit that was initially a bit edgy for My comfort. However the couple in question were longtime D/s, understood and trusted each other implicitly and had a safe signal set up should something have happened to the breathing straw. The rest of the body was wrapped first and the face section went on last, so the reliance on the straw was minimised. I have seen it used effectively as quick means of binding some parts of the body eg arms behind back or legs to a piece of furniture. It's good as it distributes the force better than a narrow cuff or rope and tends to immobilise the whole limb quite effectively. Great if you then plan to tickle an exposed part of sub! Of course it can be used for mummification of the whole body. It can get awfully hot inside, not a good thing to use during the Aussie summer! Also need to have a safety cutter/scissors on hand so it can be removed rapidly without damage to the underlying skin. And on a totally different theme, I wrap it around My head to help My purple hair dye "take"!

Tips?

I use clear clingwrap with duct tape in patterns over the top in an attempt to be artistic and ensure they really cannot get out

Sticky tape (is it called sellotape in the US?) a little cotton wool on each nipple then once the wrap is on, pick at the plastic, grab the cotton wool and pull it out - viola! Nipples escape the wrap without scissors etc. Mummies might scream a little if the sticky tape was attached to chest hair, but its nothing too annoying

If I blindfold the mummy, he might lose balance, fall over and squash me, so I tether him to a pole or lie him down.

I love to mummify in my bedroom and once he cannot move or see, push the mummy over backwards (onto my mattress of course, not the floor!). The mummy always freaks when that happens......actually, it might not be really safe to do that......don't copy me, OK?

Its easier to mummify someone if you have a helper and you pass the roll back and forth between you. Otherwise you end up running around and around....until you get so dizzy you fall off your high heels.......

Make it tight. Oh and MAKE the sub go to the toilet first - there's nothing worse than doing all that work only to hear "excuse me Mistress, I have to pee". At that point I threaten to get a cathedar.

I have mummified with part of a limb (forearm) left out and made the mummy work. Mummies can be quite handy! Head wrapping/breath play looks impressive and deliciously startles spectators, but obviously its stupid to cover the nose and mouth for longer than a (still live) mummy can hold his breath.

Safety scissors are useful to cut it all off again. Just be careful not to snip right through the mummy's underpants if he left them on......who would do something as dumb as that? *blush*

My peice de resistence a few years ago was to decorate the garden with mummified naked women for a housewarming party. It looked lovely. Then we got evicted. So keep your mummies indoors.

Nice in winter when I freeze with rope bondage. You sweat in saran or pallet wrap. However have water or juice and a blanket handy for when they are unwrapped. The sweat freezes open exposure to room temp air and you can dehydrate while wrapped. Oh yeah, and it looks like a small amount coming off the roll but it's a huge amount to be picked up later.

We found pallet wrap at Home Depot. About 4" wide on a handle.

Ohhhh I LOVE cling wrap. Including covering the face but punching thro a whole for breathing - yummy... one of my favourite play scenes in fact. I like to combine cling wrap play with knife play to release them again..... its also fantastic way to bind someone before cutting their ass/cock free for some fun.

I'm a big fan of pallet wrap; it's a lot of fun. I've found the best price for it at the Container Store (or at storage stores) vs. Home Depot. Between pallet wrap and vet foam tape, I'm a happy camper.

i happened to witness a scene between a male sub and his Mistress once where super heavy duty cling wrap was used. They'd modified one of those rolling things mechanics use to roll under cars, taking the wheels off of it to use it as a backboard of sorts and he was cling-wrapped to it. OH YES! Girls like it, but wrap a male sub to a female sub sometime; funniest thing you've ever seen! Everything you do to one is transmitted to the other. I used commercial grade shrink wrap as well...

6' plastic table that can hold enough weight
A friend to assist you
a blanket to put on the table (or not)
Baby powder (because the shrink wrap will cause them to sweat)
A knife or whatever cutting tool you want to use that will cut the platic
suction device for the clit or cock
ice or whatever else you want

lay them on the table, put the baby powder on them and start wrapping them "to the table" so they are tightly bound to the table, when it gets close to their head have your friend take over so you can poke a hole in the mouth area as soon as the wrap goes over their face (have them open their mouth very wide!). It is possible to do alone but I would not suggest it.

tear a hole in any area you want access to and have fun... Make sure to keep an eye on their breathing, check on them often, etc.

I love including my knives in the play. You can make the wrap a little crisper by using a blow drier on it...but be careful because that gets very hot....not for the ones with no experience....then making designs with a very sharp blade. I esp like the colored wrap you find close to the holidays. I am about out of my pretty pink wrap.

Ladies..... a friend has told me that industrial cling wrap can often have chemicals in it. A friend has a roll of industrial wrap for me (think it might have come from a plant store or similar)... anyone any insight? TY

Use the heavy duty and pose him in a funny pose using a footstool and/or couch back with hands like a monkey, standing against a blank wall. Use a wall that is relatively dry and not slick with paint that will come off with tape.
This helps if you have someone helping too. Stretch the wrap to three times his width and tape both sides. Do the arms and legs seperate. The trick to supporting his weigh against the wall is the length of the wrap. The longer it is, the more weigh it will support. Then snap a photo for your album!
