I think the online/offline aspect is simply a tool if used properly. I met my wife and Co-Dominant on-line and I will be eternally grateful for that. As well, I have met and located several submissives on-line, some have panned out as friends, some have lived with us for a while and some were simply figments of their own imagination..lol. And I have simply met many like minded "stylers" through this electronic media that I would not have otherwise. But I have to believe if you are using it as a tool toward a goal of real time, it is a valuable asset, if you are using it to fulfill your urge to Dominate or be Dominated by someone..I won't pass judgement if that's your thing..but I hope someday you have the opportunity to take it that next step into reality. Yes, I do know of several "folks" who have no choice but to use it as a release and a way to be able to live out their BDSM yearnings, as their real life situation simply won't permit it, but I would hope the ultimate goal is to be R/L. In a nutshell, as long as they are honest about what they are on-line..who cares. As for if they mis-represent themselves and are living a lie..well there is an advantage to cyberfolks over the real life fakers...you can block and delete them, I haven't figured out how to legally do that to them in R/L.
