It depends on the occasion. I prefer a sub to dress appropriately for the occasion and rarely dictate (or care) what he wears. As we play, things will be removed anyway and we pretty much both end up nekkid. Occasionally I will want him in something specific.

For me, I'd only classify it as play if we are doing SM, bondage, or having sex -- perhaps being 24/7 helps me make that distinction. In those cases, my slave would become naked very quickly.

Most of the time, it's whatever he's comfortable with - for actual play time, cuffs and a collar are all that are needed. Edited to add: The only absolute requirement is no latex ... I'm allergic.
