Speaking to your first need, security, I find my cb-3000 to be secure, however, I'm not trying to Houdini out of it. I wear it for a reason, not just to try to be an escape artist. I placed it on, at first, to please my Mistress. If that was the goal, removing it before she was ready for me to do so would counter the whole point of it.
The second point, detectability.... well, how tight do you wear your pants. Trust me, you'll want some room in there. I like the fit of some women's jeans.... Well, women's jeans are like a cheap hotel, to use an old joke, no ball room. No ball room, there's no cage room. If you wear somewhat loose trousers, the 3k is pretty undetectable.
One point on detection... I have a large PA ring, and unless I wear somewhat snug underwear, it rattles. Noticeably.
