just curious since i am a straight female as to why another Mod who isn't is viewing my profile? Curious as to why this this is done or is it based on responses to certain members. minnetar

I'm kind of surprised the Mods are listed as having viewed. Usually they move around very quietly. Did you recieve an e-mail or have something pulled/moved? When Mod11 sends a word, She lingers on the 'who's viewed' screen, rather like a single-tail welt.

I was told once, by one who used to do it, that there are mods who review profiles as well as mods who review the forum posts. Profiles have to stay within the TOS just as the forums do.

He dips His lid, Wow Minnetar, I take your point! How wrong it is for a moderator to moderate or even 'look around like everyone else' on a public forum! I think we should stop people from being able to google others' names- thats an infringment of my rights for posting on the 'public net'? Did something actually happen or were you censored in some way? People look at profiles all the time when they have no interest in actually contacting the person or wanting a relationship. Many times it does happen due to a forum post that may have gotten someone curious as to the who behind the post. I guess I don't understand why you're so upset over someone merely looking at your profile...unless something else happened and I'm missing something?

I noticed a Mod view my profile a few times, and it freaked me out a bit at first...briefly. I noticed the view (eeks viewer, I can't type tonight) was female and Bi...and I am straight...I think. Am going through some growth spurts though...lol. Nuff said about that. But then I thought to myself, hey I view profiles too and read them. No biggie I guess. People will be people. And when you think about things, distance is usually a heck of a barrier too and my head is not big enough to think they would be interested in me anyway. [:)]
