suggababy23 -> Plus-size fetish clothing? (4/14/2007 9:11:56 PM)

Hello everyone!

I have recently started attending play parties and I am looking for some places to look at to buy outfits to wear. I am not much into leather, rather something that is cute and sexy. I love body fitting items. I am also in college so I am trying to find things that won't break my bank. Something that I could wear out to other venues would be a plus. Does anyone have any ideas? I have fishnets and black stiletto heels...what else can I add? :)

Greetings suggababy:

although i don't normally post here, i am going to say for a college student one thing i used to do is:

take any and all long skirts, cut them as short as i wanted them leaving enough room to hem them and then i'd wear them, thong panties are cute under something like that too.

tie a blouse at the bottom with a bikini top on and there is your school girl outfit after putting your hair in pony tails.

skirts and dresses you no longer wear due to being out of date or out of fashion as i got told by my daughter one time and cutting them to the length you like (shorter is better in my opinion) then hemming them should work.

Blessed Be

Ebay. ~s~

Timeless fetish look: black bra (or just matching bra and panties), white button down shirt (in case you get cold it's a major plus), miniskirt of your choice, fishnets, and heels.

Try for the librarian look, and you can wear a long skirt, glasses, your hair in a bun, and button up that long sleeved shirt!

I advise looking at images online, finding things that you think are sexy, and then trying to create the outfit. Once you know what you are shopping for you can hit thrift stores, ebay, and inexpensive clothing shops to find what you want.

Good luck!

Unless your events have a dress code, don't worry about getting something "fetishy" if that's not your preference. Try for something simply sexy, as you seem inclined. Choose "date clothes," cocktail or casual dresses, or more interesting slacks and skirts. Vibrant colors are good--choosing one piece of a color that contrasts well with black would make you stand out pleasantly. Rich, touchable fabrics like velvet and silk are also good choices, and I've often thought that satiny silk is especially well suited to women with ample curves. I'm sure you could find these at a good plus-size retailer like Lane Bryant, or in the plus-size sections of good larger stores. For saving money: I'm a smaller woman, but I have had good luck at "budget" retailers lke TJ Maxx and Last Call--perhaps you could check them out. Also, try good consignment stores--some of my favorite play party clothes have been pre-owned. Accessorize! In one case, a wide patent leather belt at the waist and a pair of peep-toe patent heels made a slightly-sexy work outfit appropriate for a play party.
