Like many "Military brats", though technically, I was a civilian brat - my Father worked for the Army, I don't necessarily feel I am "from somewhere". I did not grow up in the town nor state I was born in. So I usually just respond that I was born in WV. I lived on Navajo reservation in AZ, and have lived in France, Germany, Georgia, Maryland, Switzerland briefly, North Carolina, and now back in Maryland. We are all wanderers on this earth. Born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I've lived in Ohio, Maine and Florida for short bits. Now I am frantically trying to move my life to the warmth & sunshine of Austin, Texas. Snow has long since lost its charm for me [8D] .

I was born and raised in germany, then lived in Oklakoma, then Arkansas and now Kansas I've been in the US for about 14 and a half years now

I was born in WV at the age of 18 started my great Gypsy journey with the military,after that settled in NYC move to Chicago and about 12 years ago return home to the mountains of WV..bounty

i was born in the south of the UK, then moved to the USA (Kentucky) when i was 11 with my family, then moved back to the UK alone when i was 20.

Born and spent the first 16 years in Iowa, only 10 miles from where I live now actually. In the 24 years inbetween I lived alot of different places for short periods of time. Wyoming, LA, SanDiego, Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Jamaica, Columbia, Vegas, quite a few times back to Iowa in between and sometimes multiples at once. I almost moved to France last year. Unless I get a damned good reason I plan on staying here in Iowa.

born in the Home Counties .. grew up in a teeny village in Oxfordshire .. moved to Brighton at sweet 16 ... and ceased to be sweet ... uni in the extreme north where we all ahd to group togetehr for warmth ... then again in the mid northwest .. then a job in Leeds

Florida cracker...born, raised, and still so far. Born in Miami, spent about 6mo's in Pensacola, and have lived in Naples/Collier all the rest of the time since I was a couple months old.

navy brat, born in Charleston, SC, did the florida-Virginia thing while dad was in the navy, then grew up in upstate NY. Left there in 81 to do the army thing, Ft. Ord, CA..loved it!, then off to Rhein Main AB in Germany outside of Frankfurt....was all over the states, IL, IA, TX, OK, MO, have driven through god knows how many, finally relocated to the warmer climes of AZ once my son left IL for college. Plan on staying here for a while......couldn't even tell you where my winter clothes are!

New Jersey....Born, Raised, Schooled and still live here....... Northern NJ....very different from South Jersey
