Hello all, I am new to all this web stuff so here goes. I have read that the girls on here get lots of email. But, since I joined a week or two ago it seems that the only people who are viewing my profile are men. Supposedly mostly dominant hetero men. hhhmmm. I have sent emails to lots of the girls I am interested in and I think I have had 2 girls respond to emails & one of them was really insulting & rude. None of the others have even looked at my profile much less responded. I think that I am polite. I try to be. Any suggestions?

would be the line (or something similar) that i have in my profile, prominently, stating that you have no interest in men, on any level (unless of course, you do). i certainly can't offer much advice on increasing ones hit rate, it's maybe a little like mailshots, you get a one percent response unless you tailor your posts to suit the needs of the person you like the look of (they still may well ignore you, women work in mysterious ways) however, you might try offering them new shoes, or a chemical extracted from a whales anus (don't tell them that bit) to make their hair shinier or complexion smoother, i understand they knock down shop doors to get facecreams and shampoos priced way beyond reason!! most cosmetic companies have their hq in the caymans! the only other pants looseners i know of are making them laugh, try wearing something that looks funny.........whoops, too late with that advice, i see!!

I would not worry too much about the gender or persuasion of the people who are viewing you (though I did just view your profile so there should be at least one female on the list). People sometimes view a profile to find out if the person more about the person including their gender, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are interested in you.

And yes there are a pile of threads asking why people do not reply to emails, some of the reasons could be.....
- your mail goes into their bulk folders if you are not within their location, age or other criteria
- they are overwhelmed by emails
- they are not interested
- they forgot
-the cat ate their reply
-they did not like what you wrote
-they are concentrating on other people
-they prefer to converse with people who focus on the positives in their forum posts rather than the negatives ....

Let go of your expectations and then you may truly enjoy the delights that are to be had on CM and the forums

as an addendum to my observation, i just found two nice sounding responses in my bulk mail folder that should not have got there as the only filter i thought i had set up should just exclude males. i suggest you check your bulk mail folder occasionally, as weird stuff sometimes happens.

it does take time to get to know the people here at collarme.
i am here to welcome you.
a good way of getting to know more people is to continuously
keep Your eyes open in the forums. keep posting messages to all the new and interesting people.
also, You can go to the home page and look up people of the female gender on the open search. make sure you narrow down which states You wish to look into, the ages and/or pictures etc. ... press search and a list of potential people will show up.
You can't get people to view Your profile until You've made the effort to search and get to know other people..... it's also a good way to get rid of that vanilla icecream cone.... keep posting messages to people.... smiles......
they will get to know you better.....

I have experienced similar problems, as well....a high percentage of men on here seeming to only want to get their rocks off. Luckily if you stick around long enough you will see that actually there's a small section of people who are truly wanting to have a true conversation, for example the forum. I just discovered it, after exploring the kink forums on Craig's List which I was less than impressed by.
