Think of the internet as a multi-faceted mask that people hide behind. I've found that many people in ANY type of chat, message board or forum completely misrepresent themselves.
When the internet started really getting popular I was very excited. I had the "Star Trek" state of mind that all of this knowledge instantly within reach that the world would become closer, more understanding and we would evolve into a more compassionate and caring people.
But alas, the human condition seems to be an absolute whether in reality or virtually.
Hence, there are those out there that just want to manipulate, dramatize and injure. It's a fact of life.
Personally I don't trust or believe 90% of who I talk to on the net....anywhere.
.......and it saddens me........
