ORIGINAL: GoddessDustyGold I edit often, however, it is only to correct spelling errors, typos (My fingers are very dyslexic at that keyboard), etc. Since there was a problem at one time regarding people making inappropriate statements and then becoming embarrassed about their own behavior, then trying to go back and take it out and also convince others to remove supporting statements, I think they have reworked the edit system so that one only has a limited amount of time to edit. If I was upset and it showed in a post, and I felt better several hours later, I don't think I have the option of editing at that point. It is too late. However, I try to police Myself regarding a response that might be less than calm and clear-headed. And when I don't, I usually recognize it, throw it out there anyway, and include the statement that I am cranky! Not on edit, but right in the original post! HOWEVER....I will never forget the day, so many moons (years?) ago, when I read a response from another poster that was quite to the point but polite and then I saw at the bottom "*edited to be nicer". That gave Me quite a chuckle. **Edited: *Smile* Because My space bar is not cooperating today. Awww, shucks, I can't believe you remembered, lol!!!!Good to see you on the boards, we need the "voices of reason" such as yourself to balance some of us that have to edit to be nicer......
