Adam was hanging around the garden of Eden feeling very lonely. So, God asked him, "What's wrong with you?" Adam said he didn't have anyone to talk to. God said that He was going to make Adam a companion and that it would be a woman. He said, "This pretty lady will gather food for you, she will cook for you, and when you discover clothing, she will wash it for you. She will always agree with every decision you make and she will not nag you, and will always be the first to admit she was wrong when you've had a disagreement. She will praise you! She will bear your children, and never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them. She will NEVER have a headache and will freely give you love and passion whenever you need it. Adam asked God, "What will a woman like this cost?" God replied, "An arm and a leg." Then Adam asked, "What can I get for a rib?" Of course the rest is history......................

OUR LITTLE SECRET

One day in the Garden of Eden, Eve calls out to God:

"God, I have a problem!"

"What's the problem, Eve?" asks God.

"God, I know you created me

and provided this beautiful garden

and all of these wonderful animals

and that hilarious comedic snake,

but I'm just not happy."

"Why is that, Eve?" came the reply from above.

"God, I am lonely, and I'm sick to death of apples."

"Well, Eve, in that case, I have a solution.

I shall create man for you...

But this man will be a flawed creature,

with many bad traits.

He'll lie, cheat, and be vain glorious;

all in all, he'll give you a hard time.

But, on the plus side, he'll be bigger,

faster, and will like to hunt and kill things.

He will look silly when he's aroused,

but since you've been complaining,

I'll create him in such a way

that he will satisfy your physical needs.

He will be witless and will revel in childish things

like fighting and kicking a ball about.

He won't be too smart,

so he'll also need your advice to think properly."

"Sounds great," says Eve,

with an ironically raised eyebrow.

"What's the catch, God?"

Well ... you can have him on one condition."

"What's that, God?"

As I said, he'll be proud, arrogant,

and self-admiring...

So you'll have to let him believe that I made him first.

Just remember, it's our little secret...

You know, woman to woman."

Then he said I can do lot better then that
and then he created woman
There is always first a prototype.....before the final Model

Actually, first there was Lilith, created in the same manner Adam was, who demanded to be Adam's equal and refused to obey him. So, Adam complained, and the Lord put him to sleep. Officially, the story goes Lilith gets cast out and becomes a demon. Then the Lord makes Eve from a rib bone, as a submissive creature.

Personally, if I were to treat this as a literal story, I'd like to think the Lord (or Lady?) found Lilith another place to stay and provided a male counterpart for Eve, with the people writing the retelling of events being ignorant of this.

Would certainly give an interesting twist on BDSM.

I don't treat it literally, though.
