Where are the older female dominants?

Status: offline 		One surprising thing I have noticed on collarme is that there are so few posts from women over the age of 40. It drops steeply after 50. That's sort of a bummer for me since I prefer women who are older than myself.

I'm interested in hearing your theories about why this is so. Perhaps it's a generational thing -- women over 50 grew up in a culture that favored submissiveness, or perhaps women over 50 don't use the internet.

Status: offline 		Wow... not sure about what the "married" reference means, but I've wondered where women over the age of 50 disappear to also. 

Not particularly the dommes, of course, but grown-ups of all types. 

I'll be curious to hear the expertly posited theories which will soon fill this thread.

Well, there are now 124 by this over-40 woman.

You obviously didn't read my question before you started to answer. Or perhaps you don't have the mental  capacity or reading ability to understand the question. Oh well -- if any of these are the case then you aren't capable of answering anyway. Move the the back of the classroom!

Status: offline 		Ive known several over40 and over50 Dommes.  They tend to favor realtime, and leave the internet stuff to the younger ones. The ones I knew at least.  However, you should realize that the number of older dommes who are going to be interested in sneaking around and playing at someones fantasy, online or realtime, is going to be drastically lower.  AS we get older, many of us realize that we want someone who is going to be ours, not someone we have to share with a wife that doesnt know shes sharing. EVen if you find a cache of older Dommes, finding some that are in the age bracket you want and interested in playing to your fantasy is going to be a bit more challenging.

I am both well under 50, and not seeking a play partner, as I am marrying my houseboy in the fall, but there are many lovely ladies over 50 both on this site and elsewhere. And yes, I can see how it would be difficult for you to find ones who are interested in playing with you, OP, because of being married. Few lifestyle Dommes want a male who is married, and whose wife is not aware. There are some, I'm sure, but I haven't met any.

JMO, and I'm sure you'll have a retort for me as well.

While you can certainly put a question out there, what you don't get is a choice in how people choose to answer said question.  Being snarky because we look at the big picture, not just age or location or what someone's proclamation of what realness is, isn't going to keep the conversation on topic or interest people in telling you what you want to hear.

Actually I was referring more to the profiles in the database. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I suspect there are more young women making posts to the forums also, but that would be very tough to figure out. It's much easier to do searching in the database of profiles.

If I search the database for different age categories in my state, there are pages and pages of results for women under the age of 40. There are only 3 women listed as "female dominants" over the age of 55. The distribution of profiles is very telling.
