Greetings, I am fairly new to the site. My fiance/submissive and I have been members for approximatly a month. I'm curious though. How do you others attract attention to your profiles? I have of course, attempted to send messages to others who use the website. However I've never recieved a response. I realize, of course, that these women quite often recieve a few hundred emails a day, so I am not holding out. But it's rather irksome, spending the time with my Tandy, putting together an Email asking assorted questions, and of course, telling a bit about ourselves as well to someone. Only to not recieve an answer. I realize, that people are quite busy, and that I should be patient. And I assure you, I am patient. I'm simply curious how to attract more people to my profile. Should I add colour to it? Should I keep it short, and simple? Are there some questions that I may want to answer on my profile? Or should I increase the detail that's currently on it? What did some of you all do, to attract attention to yourselves, and get more people interested in you? Regards, T&T

As another poster has said in here many a time..this is the internet..expect the worse and be pleasantly surprised by the best. With that being said, first off what you seek is not a voluminous resource.Secondly, you both are rather young and many a sub/slave seek experience of a few more years.Many may also wish to relocate to a more established, poly home.There have been many poly couples seeking additions who have gone years before one entered their life, I say persistance, patience, and a possible reality that it may never happen..Have you tried your local groups?Seeking in R/L , one in your area would be your better option.How to attract attention to your profile?..I think you did just exactly that by posing this question...How did I attract attention to my profile?..LOL..I am female, submissive ,novice....need I say more?...Tempting

That's an excellent point. I realize we're both quite young. We are novices in this field. Her especially. I have at least read quite a bit in regards to the scene, it's the practice that I lack. Thank you for your suggestion. As for you, Mister Troll. =) Being a man who regularly browses forums including World of Warcraft, and assorted Roleplay, and technical forums. I learnt long ago. "Do not feed the Trolls." I have neat pictures that i'll show you sometime if you're interested, all saying the exact same thing. T&T

Personally, i'm not really interested in attracting much attention to my profile. Actually, it's pretty empty. However, many people who read the forums then go on to look at profiles of people who post on the forums, so that may be a way to get some attention.

well i really dont have much on my profile.........so i cant help ya there.......i do wish you much luck though. patiece seems to be the one and only virture i dont have, as far as "feeding the Troll"......i would pick up the tab for dinner anyday!

Hello Tarenmor and welcome to the boards. Be patient and give yourselves more time to know the regulars. Participate in discussions and make some new contacts. Do be aware that couples looking for an additional female are common and that the available females looking for that type of situation are in the minority. Start using the journal feature on collarme. I basically no longer send messages myself, other than compliments when i see something that catchs my ete. Since I started the journal, my recieved numbers jumped quite a bit, even started seeing a sub here because of my journal entries

Personally, as much as I despised the waiting game, I'm coming to accept the advice my mother always gives me when I break up with a girl (as she has for years now).. "Don't worry about it, as soon as you stop looking, the perfect one will come along". So, I did. I have two slaves now I'm rather pleased with. While I'm still looking for another- (I like having several different types, and that leaves me with two vacancies)- I'm content. To return to, and elaborate upon, the point about being what they want.. Kinks are, in many cases, as in important as sexual perference- they're part of it. I'm sure it works on some subs. But, when you message others, I recommend a more.. subtle.. approach. Think of it like a single's bar. Ultimately, most are there just to hook up. Still, walking up to a girl in a drunken stupor and blurting out, "OH YEAHHH BABYYYY, TAKE IT OFF!" isn't likely to get you far, even if she is there for the sole purpose of getting laid.

Greetings, Thanks for all your friendly advice, ( and banter. but I won't get into that now. ) I truly appreciate it. I don't mind playing the patience game. It's more my fiance thats the impatient one. ( You should see her playing games that take time. So funny when she get's frustrated. Anyways.) I take all your advice, and i'll do what I can to improve my profile. And I know what you mean, about the bloodplay thing. I find personally that many of my own kinks change on a rather steady basis, I used to not like the idea of Knife play, but now I find it's something I don't have a problem with. Provided, of course, you're careful. On that note, I would like to once more thank you all for your kind responses. You are quite right, I do need to get into the scene here in my town. However I'm rather...reclusive. I enjoy my privacy, and to be honost, I can be quite shy. Heh. So I haven't done much research into the local scene. The only persons I know who are "involved' in it, I um, rather try to avoid. They're your typical gotha-be's who shop at hot topic and walk around trying to freak as many people out with their leashes and such. 'course. In the bedroom their completely 'nilla. It allows people to set their mail options so that mail from anyone who doesn't match their criteria goes straight to their bulk mail folder. Most of us never check our bulk mail folders. This may be what is happening to your mail.
