Heading back to the City tonight on the "red-eye" for the first time since moving to LA in 2002. Lots of emotions about going there.

beth left Friday to help her mom move into her new place in Chincoteague VA, and I felt it's about time to see some of the family. We felt we'd both need a vacation after that so we're meeting in NYC for the weekend, before heading home Sunday night. If anyone is in the neighborhood and wants to get together for drinks send a direct message.

beth wanted to see Wicked and I've bought tickets for Saturday night. Has anyone seen this? Would love to hear some reviews.

Thanks!

I gave my sister and her husband tickets to see it when they helped me move from NJ over the summer and they thought it was awesome. Unfortunately some of the original cast members are no longer there anymore, but they said it was a great production, funny and sad.

If you want lighter fare, Avenue Q is hysterical with great songs about racism and puppet sex.

My roommate saw Avenue Q and said that she about peed herself laughing (and she's a hard-core conservative). I have heard the soundtrack and that by itself is extremely funny, I can't even imagine it with a full show.

Wicked kicks ass.

I haven't seen it yet, but I've listend to the sound track and read the book. It's my best friend's current favorite musical.

Lucky y'all.

f,
Sorry to miss you by only a week.

Phantom again huh? Guess you must really like it. I think I could see The Producers again and again, but it must have the right people in the key roles.

Thanks to you and everyone else for the comments.

No time in this trip to take in "Avenue Q" but based upon the comments I'll put it on my list.
