I was just reading through a thread and someone was using a picture for their posts with someone wearing a mask..god I got shudders! Masks really freak me out, ..what freaks you out?

Nonconsensual BDSM.. aka abuse is my main freak out button. I've had consensual play freak me out twice

The first time, I  visited a chat room where a pair of women were having a man on his cam sound himself (urethral penetration) with a phillips head screwdriver. That freaked me out pretty royally. Sounding should always be done in a sterile manner. Not only were they risking damage at the moment, but the scar tissue from the infection could have rendered the poor man impotent and barely able to urinate.

The second time was a ProDomme doing a scene at a local play party. She was lighting a cigarette and extinguishing it on a male sub's sphincter. That freaked me a bit. I didn't consider it to be a "sane" act, considering the problem keeping burns from infecting and the impossibility of keeping the area in question clean at all times till it healed. I brought the scene to the attention of the dungeon owner and they stopped it. The male sub in question protested because he had paid the woman. As there are no "for pay" scenes allowed at the dungeon during parties, they were both shown the door.

clowns and magicians.....they just seem so freaky fake like theyre all hiding something..

and stalkers.  Ive had a few and still have one i cant seem to get rid of after over a year.  i don't want to end up beingone of those.."well, all the signs were there" when they find my dead body :(  i can handle mean people but not those crazy ones...

Needles and blood siphoning.

Thankfully, only had a set of blood draws once.  Three rather large cups of it.. not sure why the hell they needed so much..  By the end, I was clinging desperately to consciousness.  Had a hard time fending off the freak-out feeling.  Blacked out while standing, but caught myself before hitting the ground.  They got me orange juice.  :D

rape play the mention of it gives me a panic attack. it's to close to the real thing (in my head). I know it’s role play but… I just can’t make the cognitive leap in my head.

Also playing in the dark. I'm afraid of the dark big time, so just having the lights off freaks me out.

If it makes you feel better crouchingtigress, maybe it is just one of those autodialer things looking for people who answer the phone as opposed to disconnected numbers? Can you hear them breathing? There is a recording of the three-toned sound that is made when you get a number that isn't in service - supposedly if you put this on your answering machine, these automated dialers will hear it, hang up and delete your number from their database so they can't sell it for spam purposes.

As for what freaks me out - play that breaks the skin - I knew this domme one time who was into bdsm-playing with a loaded gun - freak city. When she talked about doing that it made me physically ill.

My freak out has always been Needles.  I can't even watch someone get a shot on television.  I had this dumb nurse give me a shot when i was like 9 and the needle broke off IN my arm.  The subsequent events of being held down by my dad while the doctor dug the needle out made matters much worse.  I have very very bad teeth now because I've avoided the dentist for10 years.  However, the presense of a severe absess and no dentists open at 9pm on a sunday (this was 2 weeks ago), required master to sterilize a very sharp sewing needle, have a submissive of mine hold me down and lance the absess.  Needless to say when I went to the dentist the following week my needle fears were alot less compared to that.  As a matter of fact, with a little bit of nitrus I was FINE

So now of course that I'm (nearly) over my whole needle fear thing, the master is rubbing his hands together with glee as he threatens frequently to get me that little tattoo on my left hip.  *sighs* 

Oh, yea, ball gags.  This might sound weird.  I LOVE to use them on my  submissives.  As much as possible.  But the sight of master coming at me with one damn near induces a panic attack.  I can't handle the whole drooling thing.  I feel like I'm going to choke to death.

I'll expand on that.

I get freaked out and beyond that angry when people use the terms from BDSM to excuse their abusive behavior or their survival of abusive behavior. One of my sister's exs did that -- as far as I'm concerned he belongs in jail and she should have turned him in to the cops but she bought into his BS until a death happened in their house.

I also get pissed when people use Ds as an excuse not to be an adult or to take responsibility for their actions.

For me, definitely masks - on me, and watersports, et al - though I have never participated in this activity (and don't care to), just the thought of it makes me *squick*.  Oh, and spiders, they totally creep me out! **shuddering**

Anything close around my neck, I cannot stand it so its a good thing Im a Dom and not a sub. Also watersports/scat play UGH definitely not for me.
