You can see that the critics are all over the map on it. Some loved it and others hated it.
I give it a thumbs up. Visuals are incredible in a film noir artsy fartsy cartoon kinda way rather than a wowie zowie special effects way. And I had no idea what would happen at all, so it's always fun to be surprised and there was plenty of that. But don't go if you're looking for some warm and fuzzy feeling, romance, or a deep message or anything like that. It is worth seeing if you like neat looking violent entertainment which includes a titillation factor from the gang of scantily clad hookers with handcuffs and ropes and also Jessica Alba getting whipped.
