Status: offline 		I don't have a question, really. Just something i wanted to bring up.

Earlier today, I was having a phone conversation with Master. We were discussing our days and i mentioned that i had planned to get my hair cut, but just didn't feel like doing it today. He then joked with me about getting it cut off completely.

What surprised me was that I responded that i probably would if he wanted me to. I find more and more that the walls are coming down between what i would have done in the past, and what i am now willing to freely give of myself.

Status: offline 		I got a haircut today and was debating whether I should just shave it off with summer coming. I just got a trim instead. I have in the past buzzed it all off to avoid bad helmet hair lol. Hey dont buzz all your hair off and be a crazy Britney lol.

i enjoy it when those realizations come up :)

that said, shaving your head really isn't as scary as it sounds...i used to think i could never do it, it was terrifying, etc...did it last may and LOVED it. He didn't care for it too much, though, and i miss my long locks, so i'm growing it out again. but hey, it's definitely something to consider - i think everyone should try it once :)

Heh...my Master decides my hair length, style and color, which basically means I consult with him if I ever want to change it.  He has approved my current style and with a clenched jaw approved my request to cut it shorter (although, it must fall below my shoulders).  I have joked with him before that I cut it really really short anyway.  His response was if I were ever to do that, I would soon find myself with a shaved head, for as long as he chose to keep it shaved.

So I don't mess with it.  LOL.

Status: offline 		Well, I said i probably would do it, mostly because he was joking. He wasn't serious. I don't know for sure how i'd respond if he were serious. I was still surprised at my reaction, I've always said no one was going to tell me how to wear my hair, and i guess i don't still feel that way.

Status: offline 		I love my long hair and thankfully, so does my Master . . . so if He were to bring something like that up, I would have the luxury of knowing that He was likely kidding.

However, I get the spirit of the message.  It's about what you do (or are willing to do) to please Him and I have experienced that.  It's usually a very scary moment for me, but later becomes a reflective one that makes me feel that much closer to Him who owns me.

Congratulations on your epiphany moment.

Status: offline 		I am gettin a hair cut next week and i told my Master i was gonna get it cut really short(i don't look good with short hair).  he said if you really want to sweetheart but i would not be to happy about that.  I thod him i was only kidding i am just gonna get it cut so it brushes my shoulders.  I wonder  why a lot of doms love their subs/slaves with long hair?

Status: offline 		My hair has been chin length for about 18 years, it's the length that works best for my type of hair. Any longer, and it looks stringy and unkempt, even if i brush it frequently.
I don't like my hair long for that reason. However, I've thought about it, and I would grow it out if told to do so.

Status: offline 		had that type of moment when i had facial, manicure, pedicure and my hair done ...i felt excited that was doing this - not for me but for Daddy. it's wonderful having those moments.

i love your posts, they always make me smile...this one had me giggling. i'm pretty plain with my hair...i don't dye it or cut it to particular styles (in fact i hate even getting it trimmed). He said one reason He -did- like the head shaving was because He didn't remember what i looked like with short hair, and He liked being able to see my face more. but i think we are both excited for it to grow out again...i like it shaved and long but this in between bit sucks. ;)

I wonder why these revelations hit us so powerfully?
Is it becasue there is such freedom in knowing that to whom we belong is a spiritual awakening of sorts?
 
I really do like the visual of  wall and moment by moment, incident by incident, we literally take a brick from the wall and place it in some abyss, never to rebuild the wall again.

Hi Annabelle, Glad you got to giggle,  :) 

I wouldn't be brave enough to shave my head unless it came from him!  I only started styling & coloring a couple of years ago.  I found a salon I wanted to try, to treat myself, and I asked Mr. Wonderful if I could do it.  He looked me over and gave me limits on length and his thoughts on color.  I was so excited how it turned out, as though it brought out the girly-girl in me that I never knew existed.  From there it was manicures, pedicures, massages, oh my!  He liked the look, so I could continue it.

As for the question about why doms like subs/slaves with long hair, how else is he gonna drag me across the room?    He likes to wrap his hand in it and give it a good yank.  Once I arrived to see him with my hair all done and pinned up nicely and...well....that didn't last, lol.

As for the OP, Greeneyes, those relelations are indeed fun and exciting.  Thanks for sharing it with us!  Plus, it gave the rest of us a reason to talk about hair, LOL.

Status: offline 		What is it with men and long hair anyway.....as for Daddy, i am allowed 1/2 inch to be cut off a year.  This makes styling very hard so all types of braids and updos come into play.  Of course it's used as handle/handles quite often for various reasons.

i have no doubt shaving it all off would never be ordered but i suppose i would if He wished it.  There are a lot of things we do taht we most likely never thought we would for our Masters/Dominants.  i know He has semi-painlessly gotten me to drop at least three limits in the past year ...He's sneaky that way
