Dear English paper,

Why are you taking so long?  You're late, already.  Give me a break and be done already.  You've been, and will continue to be for some time to come, a burden.  I love you.  But I hate that I have to do you.  Sort of like that girl next door, only with a bunch of STD's.

Or, maybe I'm just mad because I miss you?  If you were here, all of you, I would be so relieved!  Perhaps, maybe I'm just needy?

Well, love you or hate you, get your ass here so I can have my way with it orally.  Oh, you like that?  Oh, yes, baby, that's right, I love it when you get longer.. I know you're already at 10.. think, if I keep rubbing my fingers about you, you could get to 11?  12?  ..13?  Thirteen would please me so much.. it's that "fulfillment" I've always needed.

Now I'm thinking about it, I could be working on you right now.. I may've already missed adding one unit length to you, one which I so dearly lust for.

I own your radioactively-hot, electric ass,
Your Writer.

It is Monday morning, do you have a writer's workshop on your campus? We had one on mine.

As someone who loved to procrastinate on papers I can tell you there was a sense of joy in turning out a 20 page paper in 24 hours that is kinda unequaled. If I were you I would pile my research materials around me, think about a logical flow for the paper, make up subheadings (kinda like an outline), and just start writing what you know about the topic. Source it after you write it. If you are mistaken, you will find out as you cite sources. It was very effective when I was overwhelmed to do this. I would just look in the indexes of the books to find the relevent material after I wrote the paper.

I am a very successful term paper writer, or I would not give any advice at all. I wish you lots of luck.

Lovely. :)

"Source it after you write it."

Be careful with that.  I sourced my dissertation after I wrote it and what a pain in the butt job that turned out to be.  400 pages to reference.

I love verbing nouns!  Source it! :)

OMG the idea of sourcing a dissertation after writing it is enough to give me nightmares.... yes, this technique should be only used for short papers... ouch.
