In the random stupidity forum I stated that Gonzales will be thrown under a bus, Bush always does that to people after unequivocably stating he supports them.. it is just what he does.

Julia i heard on one of the news talk shows tonight that he might be using the Attorney General as something other republicans who are running for office can complain about to distance themselves from Bush.

Gonzo's ALREADY been thrown under the bus. The longer they stretch it out the Gonzo Show, the longer Rove can dodge the inevitable... Or maybe Andy Card.... I wonder HOW FAR Ari Fleisher's immunity deal goes, with the discovery of other wrongdoing unrelated to Scooter taking the Plame bullet for Dick Cheney?

I think any poker player who heard Gonzales testimony knew that he was a lying sack of potatoes. I was listening over a tinny, (and tiny!) 2" radio speaker... the stress in his voice was creeping me out from 5,000 miles away.

Is this really the best government money can buy?

It's not about the Best. It's about Bush hiring his incompetent FRIENDS to do jobs they can't handle.

As a lifelong fan of Hunter S. Thompson, I take exception to using the word "Gonzo" to describe anybody in the current administration.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Why dont the hard-right Clinton haters who ranted and raved about people in Government who lied to Congress dont see the current administration as worthy of their best efforts to return honesty to Government.

Boggles the imagination.
