Status: offline 		Apparantly my collarme name ending in "subby" makes me a disgrace to this website. According to an e-mail I got this morning from someone that I've never noticed posting on the boards, but read the threads.
According to this guy I think it's all a game and laugh about it. BAH! I'll admit the name was created when I was new, and it was a nickname I had from a Dom at the time. But my name makes me a bad sub and a player? I don't think so, and I'll let FnF be the judge of if I'm bad.
Oh, well. No harm done except I wonder if my name irritates other people now. Never thought about that before.
And now I'll hush cuz this is beginning to sound way too much like a rant.

Status: offline 		I think "subby" is cute ... happy ... and very appropriate. My former Master called me "subby" quite often, and it was during very tender moments. Although we are not together any longer, I can still appreciate the name. It doesn't "fit" the me that I feel I am, but it fit me when I was his. I don't need to be "subby" again ... but neither do I feel that there is anything wrong with it. It was fun and it "fit."

If it fits you, go for it!

Many who will come outright and tell you the lifestyle is a big joke to them. Yet, say the opposite on the board's.
I've never seen you as a joke...doubtful I ever will.
You must have said something to turn him on and that was the best line he could come up with to contact you.

Status: offline 		LOL while I personally can't stand the word "subby" I certainly don't get why people are SO narcissistic that they feel they not only have to take an active approach to insult others, but to spread their own ideas.

Half the time it's because they just want to do ANYTHING to provoke a response and don't have good social skills- think 12 year old boy with a crush who can't express his feelings so he hits the girl.

Status: offline 		I was at a club a few weeks ago. My hands chained in front of me. (Granted it was at my own doing, I'd just come out of a scene, rather an intense one for me and it helped me calm down. I could do everything, it was just the security that I needed at the time) and someone I didn't know questioned me doing it, saying I was just "playing at being a submissive etc etc"

I laughed outright at him.

He didn't like that much :D

Ah well.

Coming from a complete stranger it didn't mean anything.

He knew nothing about me.

The Dom that I was there with had a good laugh and his lovely slave gave me a cuddle. We laughed about that all night. (in between me rubbing sore parts of me ^_^)

I chat a lot with a dom friend who volunteers for his local police and he is always telling me how much fun it would be to have a slave cuffed in the back seat.

Status: offline 		My Master read your post an said any good Master wouldn't say something that hurtful and if your Master is happy then that's whats important. What another has to say isn't . Master say's alot of things to me and once said I was Fat and thats the way I took it and it end up I was wrong it wasn't fat but Phat (Pretty,Hot, And,Tempting) words are knives and it's all in how we use them. My Master used his to play with me an boy oh boy did he play me now I laugh so do the same subby

Status: offline 		Although I'm sure I've got no space to comment, I find "subby" to be derogatory. I don't know why. When I hear it, I feel a twinge of anger. I was on the phone with allyC this past weekend and my Master asked me if I was "talking to that subby [I] met on CollarMe"...i didn't like that he referred to her as such. "Subby" just doesn't describe what she is. The word doesn't have enough...character or substance, you know what I mean?

But what do I know? ^_^

Now I've got a new issue for my journal! I'm off! *whoosh*
