Do you put your Master/Owner/Dominant on a pedestal. Do you think it is bad or wrong if you do? You know that no one is perfect yet he seems so all knowing, so amazing, so incredibly wonderful......

Everyone has faults, no matter who they are and if they are dominant, submissive, switchy, or whatever.
Personally, if someone can't see any faults in their partner I would wonder about the relationship and if is beyond the infatuation state.
There is a difference, however, in recognizing the faults and in letting the become a focus. My partner has faults, yes, but it does not really effect our relationship. Relationships are about compromise and that includes the other person's faults. You have to decide what you can deal with and what you can't

I stand corrected [:)]

My Master (of five years) always reminds me that he's only human; I *know* he's only human; it just doesn't FEEL like he's "only human."

Like Alanis said, don't put me on a pedestal, I'm afraid of heights. It's a long way to fall.

lol, it's really alright. I am still infatuated with my partner, but I still see his faults. He has several and he knows them all, I love him though, so I don't care that he has them.

Only if there is a comfortable lounge chair.

I really find pedastals very confining, which is why I prefer to put servesses on them, just I provide ropes on wrists, for security. ;-)

i just got collared last night, so i probably shouldn't even be posting, but i am completely ga-ga about my Master.[:D]

ravenna -> RE: wondering (4/30/2005 10:37:38 PM)

On a mere pedestal? Golly, i worship my guys like they were Greek gods on Mount Olympus... Of course, the Greek gods were legendary for being fucked-up and fallible, so my guys are way better than those wacky Greek gods. And even though we've all known each other for years and years and we know every mistake, misstep and crazy-ass misadventure each of us has ever had, i still worship them and always will, they're my heroes, my leaders, my owners, my everything... *sigh*

(Sorry to be gushy, i'm having a wonderful time being with both my owners together again, could you guess???? ;-)

Edited to add a PS: Congratulations, ginger21! You were collared just last night?! That is so fantastic! Happy collarday, and may you be His forever!

i have found that the imperfections tend to add to the unique beauty, charm, grace and character of a particular Mistress or Master. Something that fits me perfectly might be uncomfortable to you, or vice versa. Viva Les Differences. May each of (Y)you be happy to discover a match.
